Sinopsis
Una investigación de asuntos internos, la amenaza de un nuevo enemigo y las consecuencias de haberse enfrentado a la Presidenta y a ASI. Toda portadora de la Witchblade debe lidiar con lealtades contrapuestas, pero pocas tanto como Sara Pezzini; el peso de estas complicaciones amenaza con hacerla pedazos.
Trama
Sara se enfrenta a Patience, la asesina del Vaticano, cuando de repente aparece su líder llamado Zadokite, el responsable de la muerte del padre de Sara.
Sara se arrodilla ante Zadokite, el asesino de su padre, ella quiere infiltrarse en esta organización para descubrir por qué mataron a su padre, el portador anterior de Witchblade.
Esta organización trata a sus sus futuras asesinas Magdalenas como un ejército donde Zadokite las cuida como hijas, Sara se siente en familia y le duele sentirse bien entre los traidores y asesinos de su padre.
Finalmente Sara sabe porque su padre fue asesinado por Zadokite, al parecer él deseaba revelar al mundo la existencia de esta organización y de todo este mundo. Sara le entrega a Zadokite la misteriosa llave de su padre, que abre un bóveda en el Vaticano donde están presos todos los demonios que han sido exorcizados.

Es orgánico con muchos detalles que balancean la sensualidad de Witchblade con sus habilidades letales.

Synopsis
Plot
An internal affairs investigation, the threat of a new enemy, and the fallout of crossing the Chairwoman and ASI. Every bearer of the Witchblade struggles with mixed allegiances, but few more than Sara Pezzini, and the weight of these entanglements threaten to tear her apart.
Sara confronts Patience, an assassin for the Vatican, when suddenly their leader—a man named Zadokite, the person responsible for the death of Sara’s father—appears.
Sara kneels before Zadokite, her father’s killer; she intends to infiltrate the organization to uncover why they murdered her father, the previous wielder of the Witchblade.
The organization treats its future assassins—the Magdalenas—like an army, with Zadokite looking after them as if they were his own daughters. Sara finds herself feeling as though she is among family, yet it pains her to feel so at ease among the very people who betrayed and killed her father.
Ultimately, Sara learns why her father was murdered by Zadokite: it seems he had intended to reveal the existence of this organization—and this entire hidden world—to the rest of humanity. Sara hands over her father’s mysterious key to Zadokite; it opens a vault within the Vatican where all the demons that have been exorcised are held captive.
Art
The art style is organic and highly detailed, striking a balance between the sensuality of the Witchblade and her lethal capabilities.
Summary
Sara begins to uncover the truth about what happened to her father—straight from his killer—leading to some powerful revelations.
