What does it come from?

Book two of this four-part epic plunges One Path into a breakneck prehistoric chase across unending forests, valleys and mountains, carrying a scorned child toward a life-giving treacle rumored to flow in the Towers. Closing in are Una’s tribe and the White King—an ancient albino T-rex drawn to the child’s power. Lushly illustrated, brutal, and breathtaking, One Path: The White King delivers 200 pages of high-stakes survival from Greg Broadmore & Andy Lanning, published by Mad Cave Studios. In a brutal, breathtaking prehistory where cavegirls fight desperately to survive and dinosaurs rule the valleys, One Path flees her tribe with a “cursed” infant that she refuses to abandon. With a fierce young Runtling at her side, she drives toward the mythic Towers—vast, earthen spires said to hold life-saving sap, a treacle rich enough to keep the starving child alive. Behind them, love twists into pursuit. Una, One Path’s sister, leads a relentless war-band. Driving three subjugated T-rexes, they are determined to uphold their brutal laws and destroy the child they scorned. Worse still, Una’s desperate gambit has roused an older terror: the White King, an ancient albino T-rex that rises from hibernation to claim its tribute. Drawn by the infant’s vital scent and the promise of renewed power, the White King cuts a path of ruin across forest and plain, devouring anything that stands between it and the child. Part chase, part odyssey, One Path: The White King hurtles through a landscape where hope is hunted and trust runs thin. As the Towers loom and the hunters close, One Path must choose what to risk, and who to become if she’s to save the condemned child.

Plot and Art

Recopila Huck: Big Bad World #1-#6

Trama

Collects Huck: Big Bad World #1–#6.

Plot
The hero who performs countless selfless acts of kindness every day returns, a hero brimming with tenderness and compassion.

Huck's mother, Anna, is haunted by nightmares about how she gained the superpower to make anyone do her bidding with a single touch.

When Anna wakes up, she finds Dr. Jack Harper on her porch. He explains that she and Huck aren't the only ones with powers in the world; there are many others who perform anonymous acts, like Sophia, who rescued him from drowning thirty years ago. He needs Huck to use his powerful search abilities to locate this woman.

Anna, Huck, and Dr. Harper embark on a search for Sophia and encounter many beings with similar powers. These individuals begin to explain that they obtained their abilities in the same way as Anna, in a dream involving a witch. They reveal that they are being hunted by a mysterious agency that wants to eliminate them. This takes place five years before the events of BIG GAME, where the Brotherhood of Assassins founded the Lucas Trust, an organization led by Mrs. Winter and the mysterious Mr. Malik. Their goal is to hunt down all the people with superpowers who received them from the mysterious witch and call themselves Witch Finders.

A spectacular sequel where Huck's world is shaken once again, and he is about to discover the origin of his powers with a brilliant explanation that blends paranormal events with witchcraft and the collective consciousness. Mark Millar, with his addictive narrative, amplifies the message about the importance of empathy and the healing power of doing at least one good deed a day. This comic is the definition of hopeful reading.

RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "AMERICAN JESUS BOOK 2: THE NEW MESSIAH"

REVIEW IN ENGLISH:

This is the sequel of the cult comic American Jesus The Chosen in 2004 (Here you can read the first issue of American Jesus The Chosen).

American Jesus The New Messiah is the sixth Millarworld / Netflix project after the purchase of the Millarworld publishing house by the streaming giant Netflix. It will be a multilingual series (Spanish / English), by Everardo Gout (Marvel's Luke Cage, Sacred Lies, Mars, Banshee, Here On Earth) and Leopoldo Gout (Molly's Game, Instinct) who will act as co-directors and producers executives in the series. Everardo Gout will also direct the series.

Where does it comes from?
This story begins in 1974 in Harlem, New York, USA, where a teenager named Luciana Cortez, who has a mysterious dream related to the death of Jesus Christ, explained to her by a mysterious man in a white suit.

Then Luciana discovers that she is pregnant, but she had never had relationships, she only had a boyfriend called Eddie, an innocent relationship, they hardly know each other and enjoy movies like Young Frankenstein, milestones of the time. The comic recreates the culture of that 1970s and 1980s very well.

What's going on?

Everything takes a turn when Luciana is 8 weeks pregnant ... nobody believes her to be a virgin, only Eddie believes her. In this case, Luciana's family chose to take her to an abortion clinic ... but something strange and powerful happens that prevents that abortion. This scene is creepy.

Luciana convinces herself that she is pregnant with the son of God in the 20th century, that the world is ruled by the Antichrist with 13 satanic families with great political and economic power, she is in great danger and escapes to Texas with Eddie where they are received as royalty by the religious leader Ezekiel.

The story then jumps to 1992, where Luciana already gave birth to the ... daughter of God, Jesus Christ incarnates in a girl named Catherine. Of Latin descent, without a doubt a contemporary ethnic change.

Catalina is tired of being idolized and kept isolated from the world, trying to keep her off the radar of satan thug Joe Allerdyce (who also appears in The Chosen), she does not believe in anything that she is the messiah because she doesn't have any powers, when she turns 18 she escapes and she meets a rock singer.

Luciana decides that she must search for her daughter alone, who is the one sent by the Angel Gabriel, leaving Eddie and Ezequiel behind, this warning is because Joe Allerdyce has already located them. Although for this installment we are already waiting for what is going to happen, what happens is EPIC, you will not be able to stop turning the pages.

This comic refreshes Christian mythology with an honest theological analysis from various perspectives, it does not offer a theology masterclass with a single point of view, nor does it criticize this religion, it is honest, concrete and open.

Book 3 will be out soon, which is the fight for humanity between Catalina and Jodie.

Art
The return of this creative team of Millar and Gross is spectacular, they manage to bring back that magic that began in 2004 and makes clear at what time The Chosen occurs, since in theory the messiah and the son of satan are almost contemporary.

Summary
The second arrival of the son of God is narrated in a fresh, original and contemporary way, where Catalina
