¿De qué viene?
Del equipo creativo ganador del premio Eisner y superventas de Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, fuente de la próxima película de DC Studios, llega esta epopeya gótica de espada y hechicería en la que Conan el Bárbaro se encuentra con El Mago de Oz.
A medida que la historia secreta de su familia comienza a desvelarse, Helen explora los terrenos de Wyndhorn House y sus numerosos habitantes, tanto reales como fantásticos, en una búsqueda para comprender su verdadera herencia familiar y el papel que desempeña.
Trama
Thomas Roger escribió un libro sobre la trágica vida de C.K Cole, basado en la entrevista que le hizo a Lilith Appleton, la ama de llaves que se encargó de Helen cuando su padre se suicidó.
Este cómic narra como Helen le pide a su abuelo Barnabas Cole respuestas sobre el monstruo que las atacó y él detuvo, pero no consigue respuesta alguna, solo gritos esquivo sy la destrucción del comedor
Helen un dia descubre a su abuelo con un animal llamado FlyUne, que ella conoce gracias a l lectura de los libros de su padre, pero este es un ser fantástico y ella creía que no existían, la mansión y los alrededor de Wyndhorn, ocultan misterios, que ella intenta descubrir, porque su padre siempre le dijo que los libros que él escribió nunca provenir de su imaginación.
Lilith confronta a Barnabas para que sea más atento con su nieta, aunque él le molesta, accede y se va a llevar a Helen a las montañas para llevar el Flytune con su madre.
Esta historia es adictiva, plagada de misterio y narrada de una manera interesante, desde el punto de vista de Lilith pero basada en el análisis del escritor Thmas Roger, quien actualmente busca escuchar de nuevo las grabaciones justo cuando se entera que Lilith murió..
Arte
Es muy orgánico y lleno de detalles hipnotizantes, cada panel te transporta a la década de 1940 con mucho realismo pero al mismo tiempo lo balancea con elementos fantásticos geniales. Aunque el cómic está dibujado, parece que fuese pintado en óleo, es impresionante el nivel artístico de esta serie.
Resumen
Helen desconfía de su abuelo y necesita respuestas, pero de seguro no está lista para enfrentarte a una realidad fuera de nuestro mundo.

As the secret history of her family begins the unravel, Helen explores the grounds of Wyndhorn House and its many inhabitants both real and fantastical, on a quest to understand her true family heritage and what role she plays.
Plot
Thomas Roger wrote a book about the tragic life of C.K Cole, based on the interview he did with Lilith Appleton, the housekeeper who took care of Helen when her father committed suicide.
This comic tells how Helen asks her grandfather Barnabas Cole for answers about the monster that attacked them and he stopped, but she gets no answer, only elusive screams and the destruction of the dining room.
Helen one day discovers her grandfather with an animal called FlyUne, which she knows thanks to reading her father's books, but this is a fantastic being and she believed that they did not exist, the mansion and those around Wyndhorn hide mysteries, which she tries to discover, because her father always told her that the books he wrote never came from his imagination.
Lilith confronts Barnabas to be more attentive to her granddaughter, although he annoys her, she agrees and takes Helen to the mountains to take the Flytune to her mother.
This story is addictive, full of mystery and told in an interesting way, from Lilith's point of view but based on the analysis of the writer Thmas Roger, who is currently seeking to listen to the recordings again just when he finds out that Lilith died...
Art
It is very organic and full of hypnotizing details, each panel transports you to the 1940s with a lot of realism but at the same time balances it with great fantastical elements. Although the comic is drawn, it seems as if it were painted in oil, the artistic level of this series is impressive.
Summary
Helen distrusts her grandfather and she needs answers, but she surely isn't ready to face a reality outside of our world.
