Dynamite Comics acaba de lanzar The Boys Ómnibus Vol 1 que incluye los primeros 14 números de esta serie escrita por por Garth Ennis (Preacher) y dibujada por Darick Robertson por desde el año 2007 y que alcanzó 61 entregas.
The Boys es un grupo élite de ataque del gobierno, destinado a detener e investigar a los súper héroes que obran mal. En este mundo los súper héroes son vistos como seres perfectos cuyas aventuras son narradas en los cómics, pero en realidad están corrompidos por tanto poder, el detalle es que están apoyados por corporaciones y por los medios de comunicación.
Este año este cómic tendrá su versión en serie de TV por Amazon Prime producida por Seth Rogen que sale este verano:
¿De qué viene?
Este cómic comienzo con el reclutamiento de Hughie, un joven escocés que sufre una pérdida terrible a manos de un superhéroe y Butcher lo empieza a entrenar sobre formar parte del equipo que se nutre de poderes por la Substancia V.
¿Qué sucede?
Este omnibus incluye cuatro arcos argumentales dedicados al entrenamiento de Hughie como un integrante de The Boys, estos son The Name of the Game, Chery, Get Some, Glorious Five Year Plan.
The Boys lo conforman, Buther (líder), Hughie, Mother´s Milk, The Frenchman y The Female, todos son personajes rudos, que atacan sin piedad y poseen habilidades extras por la Substancia V, ellos de alguna manera está resentidos por algún hecho en su pasado generado por los Super héroes, en especial The Seven.
En estas historia, The Boys investigan diferentes grupos de super héroes, como Teenage Kix, Tek-Knight y Swingwing, sin embargo la investigación de The Seven no entran en este omnibus.
El cómic se mueve entre varios géneros como la ciencia ficción, acción, comedia, investigación y varios elementos gore, es de lectura para adultos por sus connotaciones sexuales, lenguaje vulgar y constantes menciones a las drogas.
Al igual que Preacher está serie es muy cruda e irreverente, apoyada por un arte magnífico, las secuencias de acción son espectaculares y muy llenas de detalles.
Este volumen incluye tods las portadas de los primeros 14 números, así como guion detallado del #4 apoyado del arte y un corto de 4 páginas especial.
Resumen
Con una historia atrevida, intensa y muy cruda, The Boys reescribe el género de super héroes con intensidad y temáticas para adultos, donde los super héroes se corrompen con facilidad y la sociedad y corporaciones apoya este secreto que todos conocen.

Where it comes from?
This comic begins with the recruitment of Hughie, a young Scottish who suffers a terrible loss at the hands of a superhero and Butcher begins to train on being part of the team that is nourished by powers by Compound V.
What's going on?
This omnibus includes four story arcs dedicated to the training of Hughie as a member of The Boys, these are: The Name of the Game, Chery, Get Some, Glorious Five Year Plan.
The Boys´team are formed by Buther (leader), Hughie, Mother's Milk, The Frenchman and The Female, all are tough characters, who attack mercilessly and possess extra skills by Compund V, they are somehow resentful of any fact in his past generated by the Super Heroes, especially The Seven.
In these stories, The Boys investigate different groups of superheroes, such as Teenage Kix, Tek-Knight and Swingwing, however the investigation of The Seven does not enter this omnibus.
The comic moves between several genres such as science fiction, action, comedy, detective and various elements of gore, it is reading for adults for their sexual connotations, vulgar language and constant mentions of drugs.
Like Preacher, this series is very crude and irreverent, supported by a magnificent art, the action sequences are spectacular and full of details.
This volume includes all covers of the first 14 issues, as well as a detailed script of the # 4 supported by the art and a special 4-page short.
Summary
With a daring, intense and very crude history, The Boys rewrites the genre of superheroes with intensity and themes for adults, where superheroes are easily corrupted and society and corporations support this secret that everyone knows.
