¡Berserker Unbound es el nuevo cómic de Mike Deodato Jr. y Jeff Lemire (reciente ganador del premio Eisner)! En Berserker Unbound #3 Mongrel y Cobb empiezan a hacerse amigos, comparten sus bebidas y descubre que ambos han sufrido una gran pérdida, la desesperanza los une. El cómic termina con una invasión de guerreros del mundo de Mongrel.
Último capítulo del que esperemos sean muchos volúmenes.

Mongrel y Cobb se esconden de esta terrible invasión de guerreros de Mist, son la gente de la Niebla, quienes son privilegiados y por muchos años han gobernado ese mundo con mano de hierro, aquí se revela la razón por que el malvado hechicero Mist King.
Pero cuando decide asesina a Cobb, resulta que esta magia no funciona en nuestro, mundo, Cobb está impresionado por todo, pero se da cuenta que es como Superman para ellos.
Por lo tanto es Cobb quien se encarga de terminar con este Hechicero.
Mongrel, que significa mestizo, explica que se cansó de saborear las migajas de la gente de Mist, se cansó de saborear los latigazos y prefirió saborear su sangre, las secuencias de acción en este cómic son impactantes, Lemire y Deodato no se contuvieron en cuanto a acción y sangre.
Ya conocida su furia, ahora entendemos cómo nació Mongrel King, se convirtió en un libertador de su pueblo y lo coronaron rey, Rhona era su reina y Elmy su princesa, que fueron brutalmente asesinadas por el pueblo de Mist.
Mongrel vence a todos los guerreros, solo queda el hechicero, que no usa espadas para pelear, solo su magia y usa a Cobb (el único amigo que tiene Mongrel en cualquier mundo) como rehén.
El hechicero logra vencer a Mongrel con su magia.
Pero cuando decide asesina a Cobb, resulta que esta magia no funciona en nuestro, mundo, Cobb está impresionado por todo, pero se da cuenta que es como Superman para ellos.
Por lo tanto es Cobb quien se encarga de terminar con este Hechicero.
Finalmente Mongrel se despide de Cobb, sin embargo, el segundo le pide ir a este mundo, porque ya no tiene nada que perder.
En este página es cuando dan a entender que esta serie puede seguir, porque cada símbolo o runa, parece llevar a otra dimensión, ya que este cómic confirma que Mongrel viene de otra dimensión, no de nuestro pasado. Al entrar en esta cueva ambos empiezan a hablar el mismo idioma.
El epílogo es triste y nostálgico, Cobb ayuda a Mongrel a enterrar a su esposa e hija en un funeral Vikingo, mientras Cobb se deshace de la única foto que le queda de su familia perdida, un final muy duro.

Mike Deodato Jr. se supera a sí mismo en este entrega, el arte es impresionante con un rango amplio que va desde una pelea hasta las lágrimas de una pérdida.

Berserker Unbound is the new comic by Mike Deodato Jr. and Jeff Lemire! A warrior travels centuries in the future to our time, a series that mixes action, magic and drama. This is Deodato's first comic after retiring from Marvel Comics after 24 years of career.

In Berserker Unbound # 3 Mongrel and Cobb begin to make friends, share their drinks and discover that both have suffered a great loss, despair unites them. The comic ends with an invasion of warriors from the world of Mongrel.

What happens?
Mongrel and Cobb hide from this terrible invasion of Mist warriors, they are the people of the Mist, who are privileged and for many years have ruled that world with an iron hand, here the reason why the evil sorcerer Mist King is revealed.
Mongrel, explains that he got tired of savoring the crumbs of the people of Mist, got tired of savoring the lashes and preferred to savor their blood, the action sequences in this comic are shocking, Lemire and Deodato were not restrained with blood.
His fury is already known, now we understand how Mongrel King was born, he became a liberator of his people and he was crowned king, Rhona was his queen and Elmy his princess, who were brutally murdered by the people of Mist.
Mongrel defeats all the warriors, only the sorcerer remains, who does not use swords to fight, only his magic and uses Cobb (Mongrel's only friend in any world) as a hostage.
The sorcerer manages to defeat Mongrel with his magic.
But when he decides to kill Cobb, it turns out that this magic does not work in our world, Cobb is impressed by everything, but he realizes that he is like Superman for them.
Therefore it is Cobb who is responsible for ending this Sorcerer.
Finally Mongrel says goodbye to Cobb, however, the former asks him to go to this world, because he has nothing to lose.
This page is when they imply that this series can continue, because each symbol or rune seems to lead to another dimension, since this comic confirms that Mongrel comes from another dimension, not from our past. Upon entering this cave both begin to speak the same language.
The epilogue is sad and nostalgic, Cobb helps Mongrel to bury his wife and daughter at a Viking funeral, while Cobb gets rid of the only photo he has left of his lost family, a very hard ending.
