¿De qué viene?

Tienes quince años. De repente se te otorgan poderes increíbles, solo hay un problema: solo puedes usar tus poderes durante diez minutos a la vez. ¿Qué haces cuando tienes que salvar el mundo pero solo tienes diez minutos para hacerlo? Este es el problema al que se enfrenta Oliver Leif, un adolescente que acaba de mudarse a una nueva ciudad y a una nueva escuela, y está teniendo bastante dificultad para asistir a las clases y enamorarse antes de que los monstruos interdimensionales comiencen a aparecer.

En E-ratic #3 Marquez controla Maple Highschool todos los profesores y estdiantes se comportan raro, gracias a las órdenes tiránicas y marxistas. Oliver despierta con un traje en el laboratorio del Doctor Peters, quien lleva tiempo estudiando el tipo de energía que fluye por el cuerpo de Oliver. El doctor creó un traje que tiene una cola que hace que cargue a tierra la energía eléctrica de Oliver, haciendo más seguro usar sus poderes.

Trama

Oliver detiene un asalto para descubrir que era su hermano y es golpeado, por lo que tiene una serie de flashbacks, que lo remonta al día que estaba enfermo en plena pandemia que estaba azotando al planeta, esto parece conectarse con el cómic The Resistance.

Durante la cuarentena, Oliver recuerda que su padre lo abandonó cuando estaba enfermo y nunca volvió, pudo haber muerto o solo lo abandonó, pero esto no lo sabe nadie, ni su madre.

En este cómic están ocurriendo muchas cosas en paralelo:

• Casper llega a su casa para ver como su casero los desalojo, por lo que da su carro en forma de pago
• La madre de Casper y Oliver aun no aparece, no parece ser muy responsable
• Oliver es rescatado por un pordiosero
• Los alumnos y profesores de Mapletown Highschool estan controlados por el Director Marquez, todos andan con una sonrisa como zombies.

Pero lo mejor esta por pasar cuando introducen a un nuevo personaje, Allie, una de las Maple 10, esos 10 estudiantes que desaparecieron en una tragedia (que aun no han explicado) y se hace llamar Animus y con un exoesqueleto de metal ataca al colegio y a todos los estudiantes y profesores, su objetivo es Kristen.

Oliver llega y aunque no tiene sus poderes completos, recarga el traje en un UBER y logra vencer a Animus y Kristen lo besa.

Este penultimo episodio cierra con el director Marquez reclutando a Animus, el Doctor Peters forma parte de este equipo.

Kaare Andrews esta entregando sin duda alguna el mejor trabajo artístico de su carrera con colores espectaculares de Brian Reber 

Resumen

Esta penúltima entrega es la más intensa y acelerado de toda la serie, con muchas revelaciones, no podrán parar de leerla, nos prepara para un gran final

What does it come from? You're fifteen years old. You're suddenly granted incredible powers. Cool, right? There's only one problem: you can only use your powers for ten minutes at a time. What do you do when you have to save the world but you only have ten minutes to do it? This is the problem faced by Oliver Leif, a teenager who has just moved to a new town, and a new school, and is having a hard enough time navigating classes and his crush before the inter-dimensional monsters started showing up. In December AWA launches this new series that explores the genre of teenage superheroes with a fresh and brilliant vision. Written and illustrated by Kaare Andrews with colors by Brian Reber, it tells the story of a teenager who is given extraordinary powers for just 10 minutes.

In E-ratic # 3 Marquez controls Maple Highschool all teachers and students behave strangely, thanks to tyrannical and Marxist orders. Oliver wakes up in a suit in the laboratory of Doctor Peters, who has been studying the type of energy that flows through Oliver's body for a long time. The doctor created a suit that has a tail that causes Oliver's electrical energy to ground, making it safer to use his powers. Plot Oliver stops an assault to discover that it was his brother and is beaten, so he has a series of flashbacks, which takes him back to the day he was sick in the middle of a pandemic that was hitting the planet, this seems to connect with the comic The Resistance. During the quarantine, Oliver remembers that his father abandoned him when he was sick and never came back, he may have died or just abandoned him, but this is not known to anyone, not even his mother. In this comic many things are happening in parallel:

• Casper comes to his house to see how his landlord evicted them, so he gives his car in payment.
• Casper and Oliver's mother hasn't shown up yet, she doesn't seem to be very responsible
• Oliver is rescued by a beggar.
• The students and teachers of Mapletown Highschool are controlled by Principal Marquez, they all walk with a smile like zombies.

But the best is yet to happen when they introduce a new character, Allie, one of the Maple 10, those 10 students who disappeared in a tragedy (which they have not yet explained) and calls himself Animus and with a metal exoskeleton attacks the school and to all students and teachers, his target is Kristen. Oliver arrives and although he does not have the full powers of him, he recharges the suit in an UBER and manages to defeat Animus and Kristen kisses him. This penultimate episode closes with director Marquez recruiting Animus, Doctor Peters is part of this team.

Art Kaare Andrews is delivering without a doubt the best artwork of his career with spectacular colors by Brian Reber

Summary

This penultimate installment is the most intense and accelerated of the entire series, with many revelations, you will not be able to stop reading it, it prepares us for a great finale
