La exitosa serie Year Zero de AWA y Upshot regresa con cuatro nuevas y desgarradoras historias de supervivencia de un mundo postapocalíptico: una veterana capitana Noruega y sus dos pequeños nietos navegan por un océano lleno de muertos vivientes mientras eluden a los implacables piratas en su camino. Un jefe de cartel Colombiano se entrega a todos sus caprichos más sádicos sin saber que una amenaza mucho mayor que los zombis se dirige hacia su fortaleza en la jungla. Un médico Ruandés debe superar el miedo paralizante que lo ha atormentado durante toda su vida mientras atraviesa la maleza africana. Y una mujer embarazada atrincherada en una gran tienda estadounidense descubre que la mayor amenaza para su vida, y la de su hijo por nacer, podría no ser un no muerto. Benjamin Percy (Wolverine, X-Force) vuelve a escribir esta visión global al apocalipsis zombie, ahora junto al artista Juan José Ryp (Britannia) y el colorista Frank Martin (Infinity Wars).
TRAMA
El cómic narra por separado estas cuatro historias de personajes muy diferentes que deben enfrentarse a algo inimaginable, poco a poco los vamos conociendo un poco más.
Hallie, de Noruega: Hallie y sus dos nietos engañan a los piratas para que se suban al crucero y ellos poder llevarse su barco, lo logran pero al bajar el ancla su destino esta marcado por más muerte.
Ishmael, de Rwanda: el Doctor Ishmael usa la piel de un león ayudar a todos los habitantes del pueblo para que pueden llegar a su refugio de casas altas, como un héroe logra su cometido pero se sacrifica.
Tina, de Phoenix, AZ: Tina da a luz y Bradley (uno de los saqueadores que entró por el techo) la asiste, esto conmueve hasta el mas rudo y cruel de los saqueadores.
Tito, de Colombia: Tito el Topo intenta asesinar a Manuel y Gabriela pero todo el dinero y armas no lo podrán proteger de una avalancha de muertos vivos.
La historia cierra con un mensaje de la estación espacial que desde el espacio ven como la tierra poco a poco pierde su luz de noche y como ellos mismos tendrán un final pronto.
Arte
Esta entrega tiene el arte mas intenso y diverso de todo este volumen 2, violencia extrema se mezcla con la paz del mar y el milagro de un nacimiento.
Resumen
Este volumen a pesar de mostrar la crueldad de la raza humana, recalca que ante todo la constante es que la vida siempre se abre camino, hasta en el peor de las circunstancias, un mensaje importante y esperanzador en esta época de pandemia.

PLOT
Hallie, from Norway: Hallie and hers, two of her grandchildren, trick the pirates into getting on the cruise ship and they can take their ship, they succeed, but when the anchor is lowered, their destiny is marked by more death.
Ishmael, from Rwanda: Doctor Ishmael uses the skin of a lion to help all the villagers so that they can reach their refuge of high houses, he achieves his mission but sacrifices himself.
Tina, from Phoenix, AZ: Tina gives birth and Bradley (one of the looters who entered through the roof) assists her, this moves even the most rude and cruel of looters.
Tito, from Colombia: Tito el Topo tries to assassinate Manuel and Gabriela but all the money and weapons will not be able to protect him from an avalanche of the living dead.
The story closes with a message from the space station that from space they see how the earth little by little loses its light at night and how they themselves will have an end soon.
Art
This installment has the most intense and diverse art of all this volume 2, extreme violence mixed with the peace of the sea and the miracle of a birth.
Summary
This volume, despite showing the cruelty of the human race, emphasizes that above all the constant is that life always makes its way, even in the worst of circumstances, an important and hopeful message in this time of pandemic.
