¿De qué viene?
Chariot fue un proyecto gubernamental secreto de la era de la Guerra Fría para proporcionar a su agente estrella un arma como ninguna otra en forma de un muscle car.
Chariot se hundió en el océano hace décadas, y el agente junto con él. Ahora, un pequeño delincuente que busca reformar su vida se ha topado con el carro, y está a punto de descubrir que la conciencia del agente todavía lo controla.
Chariot es escrita por Bryan Edward Hill (Batman and the Outsiders) ilustrada Priscilla Petraites (Rat Queens) con colores de Marco Lesko (Robotech Remix) y AWA la define como una mezcla entre Matrix y El Auto Fantástico.
Trama
En el suroeste de Asia una mujer anciana verifica una alarma, es la hermana de Gillian que utiliza un tecnología avanzada para rejuvenecer y usa un exoesqueleto, ya que ella lleva años esperando el regreso de su hermana.
Gillian explica Jim que le va ayudar a recuperar su esposa Saddie en gratitud por haber ayudado el carro eso sí, no puede revelar a nadie que existe (aunque es difícil que alguien le crea), claro Jim debe conseguir un cuerpo para Gillian y así ella pueda transferirle toda su esencia con la ayuda de la inteligencia artificial de Chariot.
Gillian tiene una personalidad sumamente fuerte, sus interacciones con un Jim son hilarantes, porque ella no tiene filtro, es irreverente y directa.
Gillian inserto en el cerebro del Jim un chip de manera que están conectados mentalmente, por lo tanto la comunicación de ambos es muy efectiva.
La secuencia final de este cómic es espectacular, ya que de repente llega de la nada la hermana de Gillian como un superhéroe y ataca Jim, lanzandolo por una ventana a gran altura.
Este segundo capitulo revela algo del pasado de Gillian y con mucha acción y ciencia ficción establecen las bases de una historia muy interesante.
Arte
Priscilla Petraites con su arte nos transporta a este mundo de tecnología futurista, autos poderosos y una sensación de persecución genial. El arte esta lleno de detalles alucinantes.

What does it come from?
The Chariot was a Cold War-era secret government project to provide its star agent with a weapon unlike any other in the form of a supercharged muscle car. It sank into the ocean decades ago, and the agent along with it. Now, a petty criminal looking to reform his life has stumbled upon the Chariot, and he's about to find out that the agent's consciousness is still controlling it in this synthwave thriller.
Chariot is written by Bryan Edward Hill (Batman and the Outsiders) illustrated by Priscilla Petraites (Rat Queens) with colors by Marco Lesko (Robotech Remix) and AWA defines it as a mix between The Matrix and The Fantastic Car.
Plot
In Southwest Asia an elderly woman checks an alarm, she is Gillian's sister who uses advanced technology to rejuvenate and uses an exoskeleton, since she has been waiting for years for the return of her sister.
Gillian explains Jim that she will help him to get his wife Saddie back in gratitude for having helped fix the car but he cannot reveal to anyone that she exists (although it is difficult for anyone to believe him), of course Jim must get a body for Gillian and so she can transfer all her essence to it with the help of Chariot's artificial intelligence.
Gillian has an extremely strong personality, her interactions with a Jim are hilarious, because she has no filter, she is irreverent and direct.
Gillian inserted a chip in Jim's brain so that they are mentally connected, therefore the communication of both is very effective.
The ending sequence of this comic is spectacular, as Gillian's sister suddenly comes out of nowhere like a superhero and attacks Jim, throwing him out of a window from a high building.
This second chapter reveals some of Gillian's past and with lots of action and science fiction they lay the foundations for a very interesting story.
Art
Priscilla Petraites with her art transports us to this world of futuristic technology, powerful cars and a cool chase sensation. The art is full of mind-blowing details.
