En esta aventura llena de acción ambientada en el universo de The Resistance, Gregg Hurwitz (The Dark Knight, Vengeance of Moon Knight), Mark Texeira (Ghost Rider, Wolverine) y Brain Reber (X-Men: Legacy, Spider-Man / Deadpool) presentan a un justiciero enmascarado para el siglo XXI. Bob Ryder es un desafortunado burócrata cuya racha de mala suerte llega a un punto culminante cuando accidentalmente mata al vigilante enmascarado de la ciudad The Knight. Ahora, Bob se ve obligado a asumir el manto del héroe legendario antes de que la ciudad caiga en el caos. Menos mal que tiene al ex mayordomo / asistente de The Knight para que le enseñe los hilos.
Trama
Bob es un analista de crímenes que trabaja para la policía de Nueva York, el detalle es que nadie lo respeta y su empleo no le permite ascender, hasta su novia lo dejó.
Actualmente Bob descubre la existencia de un grupo de seres con implantes que le permiten usar tecnología y realizar crímenes. Lo que desconoce es que este grupo desea eliminar a todos las personas que adquirieron poderes (5% del planeta, leer The Resistance).
Un dia un accidente desafortunado pero algo hilarante hace que el héroe más importante de la ciudad the Knight muera. Pero instantáneamente es llevado a su guarida donde su mayordomo Ash Devane, qien no le duele mucho la muerte de su amo, le explica que la ciudad necesita más que nunca de este héroe, y que Bob debe asumir el manto o irá preso porque lo denunciará con la policía.
The Knight es como Batman, posee muchas armas y tecnología apoyado por su fortuna, pero es una persona egoísta, pesada e insoportable.
Esta primera entrega es descabellada, inteligente, intensa y deconstruye el mito del superhéroe con un giro interesante, con toques acertados de humor negro.
Arte
Es orgánico con una textura bien definida para cada estado de dinamismo, posee detalles magníficos que desbordan de maravilla cada panel de cada página.

What does it come from?
In this action-packed adventure set in the universe of The Resistance, Gregg Hurwitz (The Dark Knight, Vengeance of Moon Knight), Mark Texeira (Ghost Rider, Wolverine), and Brain Reber (X-Men: Legacy, Spider-Man/Deadpool) introduce a masked vigilante for the 21st Century. Bob Ryder is a hapless bureaucrat whose bad luck streak comes to a crescendo when he accidentally kills the city’s masked vigilante, The Knight. Oops. Now, Bob is forced to take on the mantle of the legendary hero before the city descends into chaos. Good thing he’s got The Knight’s former butler/assistant to show him the ropes.
Plot
Bob is a crime analyst who works for the New York police, the point is that no one respects him and his work does not allow him to get promoted, even his girlfriend left him.
Currently Bob discovers the existence of a group of beings with implants that allow him to use technology and carry out crimes. What he does not know is that this group wants to eliminate all the people who acquired powers (5% of the planet, read The Resistance).
One day an unfortunate but hilarious accident causes the city's greatest hero the Knight to die. But he is instantly taken to his lair where his butler Ash Devane, who does not hurt the death of his master much, explains that the city needs this hero more than ever, and that Bob must assume the mantle or he will go to prison because he will denounce him with the police.
The Knight is like Batman, he possesses many weapons and technology supported by his fortune, but he is a selfish, heavy and unbearable person.
This first installment is wacky, clever, intense, and deconstructs the superhero myth with an interesting twist, with excellents touches of dark humor.
Art
It is organic with a well defined texture for each state of dynamism, it has magnificent details that overflow with wonder every panel of every page.
Summary
Bob must assume the mantle of the most important hero in the city and face a different world divided between superhumans and normal people
