Mattel, Inc. y Dark Horse Comics anunciaron su alianza para lanzamiento de la serie de cuatro cómics “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”. Con cuatro cómics que se lanzarán a partir de julio de 2021 que servirá como una precuela de la próxima serie animada "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" de Netflix y Mattel Televisión que se estrenó el 23 de julio.

Esta es la precuela oficial del cómic del próximo programa de televisión de Netflix escrito por los productores ejecutivos Kevin Smith y Rob David y el escritor de episodios Tim Sheridan y con arte de Mindy Lee (Crimson Lotus).

Después de un feroz ataque de Orlax contra su padre, el Rey Randor, He-Man descubre que la criatura está vinculada al origen de la espada del poder. Para salvar a Randor y poner fin al caos, He-Man se embarca en un viaje épico que lo enfrenta a sus viejos enemigos Skeletor y Evil-Lyn, y ve a Teela tomar las riendas de un poderoso legado.

TRAMA

He-man y Teela se enfrentan a Skeletor y Evil Lyn, para usar el dispositivo de comunicación con el Orlax, y despertar al Rey de su estado catatónico.Skeletor y Evil Lyn escapan y destruyen el dispositivo.

Skeletor revela que el Orlax le dijo la ubicación de los secretos ocultos en el Castillo de Greyskull y va a buscarlos, dirigiendo un ataque y así comienza la primera temporada de la serie de Netflix.

Teela se enfurece al llegar al Castillo de Greyskull y no poder salvar al Rey, se molesta porque el Príncipe Adam no está,  empieza a desconfiar de todos y acusa a Sorceress que su magia es inútil al no poder salvar al re, cuando de repente su cuerpo se levita y desata una onda de energía que despierta y cura al Rey. Sorceress se lleva a Teela y borra de su mente lo que ocurrió por su "propio bien", Orko no está de acuerdo con esto.

Esta revelación de Teela seguro será parte de lo que va a ocurrir en la segunda parte de la Temporada 1 de Amos del Universo que estrena el 23 de noviembre por Netflix.

Arte

Ofrece la atmósfera perfecta de misterio y tensión entre los personajes trabajando bien las expresiones faciales y poses.

This is the official comic book prequel to the upcoming Netflix television show written by Executive Producers Kevin Smith and Rob David and episode writer Tim Sheridan and featuring art by Mindy Lee (Crimson Lotus). 

Following a vicious Orlax attack on his father King Randor, He-Man learns the creature is linked to the origin of the sword of power. To save Randor and put an end to the chaos, He-Man embarks on an epic journey that pits him against his longtime foes Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, and sees Teela take the reins of a powerful legacy.

PLOT

He-man and Teela confront Skeletor and Evil Lyn, to use the communication device with the Orlax, and awaken the King from his catatonic state. Skeletor and Evil Lyn escape and destroy the device.

Skeletor reveals that the Orlax told him the location of the hidden secrets in Greyskull Castle and goes to search for them, leading an attack and thus begins the first season of the Netflix series.

Teela becomes enraged when arriving at the Castle of Greyskull and not being able to save the King, she is upset that Prince Adam is not there, begins to distrust everyone and accuses Sorceress that her magic is useless because she cannot save the king, when suddenly her body levitates and unleashes an energy wave that awakens and heals the King. Sorceress takes Teela and erase her mind of what just happened for her "own good", Orko disagrees with this.

This revelation of Teela will surely be part of what is going to happen in the second part of Season 1 of Masters of the Universe that premieres on November 23 on Netflix.

ART

It offers the perfect atmosphere of mystery and tension between the characters by working well the facial expressions and poses.

Summary

Skeletor and Evil Lyn prepare to attack Castle Greyskull while it's revealed Teela's powers.
