¿De qué viene?
El yokai, Yuki Onna, está alborotado y ataca a una banda de bandidos que están buscando a Usagi y Yukichi. Ella mata a muchos de ellos, pero se encuentra cara a cara con su líder, Jei, la Espada de los Dioses. Mientras tanto, Usagi y Yukichi, que sufren los efectos de la pelea con Yuki Onna, están refugiadas en su pequeña cabaña temiendo su regreso.
Trama
Yuki-Onna esta herida e iracunda luego de ser vencida por Usagi, por lo que necesita recuperar energías devorando nuevas víctimas, y el ejército de Jei es perfecto para este fin, Jei la confronta y le ofrece el alma de todos su s hombres a cambio del ubicación de Usagi y ella lo que quiere es el poder de Jei, la batalla es intensa, pero Jei la gana porque no tiene alma.
Usagi está ayudando a que Yukichi se recupere y se le quite el frío por la batalla con Yuki-Onna, por lo que debe mantener la casa cálida con la leña, cuyo humo delata su ubicación a Jei.
Este arco argumental a colores de Usagi tiene todos los ingredientes que Stan Sakai lleva perfeccionando, misterio, lucha de espadas,mitología japonesa, terror y ese ritmo narrativo hipnotizante y vertiginoso.
Arte
Es una mezcla de arte ingenuo, con caricaturas pero con la impronta única de Stan Sakai, que nunca decepciona y muestra una evolución impresionante. Los colores son hermosos y resaltan todos esos trazos únicos de Stan, es un deleite visual.

What does it come from?
The yokai, Yuki Onna, is on a rampage and attacks a gang of bandits who are searching for Usagi and Yukichi. She kills many of them, but comes face to face with their leader, Jei, the Blade of the Gods. Meanwhile, Usagi and Yukichi, suffering from the effects of the fight with Yuki Onna, are holed up in her small hut dreading her return!
Plot
Yuki-Onna is hurt and angry after being defeated by Usagi, so she needs to regain energy by devouring new victims, and Jei's army is perfect for this purpose. Jei confronts her and offers her the souls of all his men in exchange. Usagi's location and what she wants is Jei's power, the battle is intense, but Jei wins it because he has no soul.
Usagi is helping Yukichi recover and get rid of the cold from the battle with Yuki-Onna, so he must keep the house warm with firewood, the smoke of which revelas their location to Jei.
This colorful story arc of Usagi has all the ingredients that Stan Sakai has been perfecting: mystery, sword fighting, Japanese mythology, horror and that hypnotizing and dizzying narrative rhythm.
Art
It is a mixture of naive art, with caricatures but with the unique imprint of Stan Sakai, which never disappoints and shows an impressive evolution. The colors are beautiful and highlight all of Stan's unique strokes, it is a visual delight.
