RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "X-MEN '97 #2" CON SPOILERS

 

¿De qué viene?

¡SABRETOOTH ATACA! … ¡y él no es la única amenaza a la que se enfrentan los X-Men! Mientras Jean Grey y Cyclops se preparan para embarcarse en una nueva y audaz aventura, un siniestro enemigo surge de las sombras, desatando un torrente de nuevo terror. ¿Podrá un viejo amigo cambiar el rumbo o será demasiado tarde para salvar a Wolverine de ser hecho trizas?

Trama

Este cómic ocurre nueve meses antes de la nueva serie animada X-men '97 de Disney + y solo días después de la desaparición de Charles Xavier en el capítulo final Graduation Day.

Scott se acaba de enterar que Jean Grey esta embarazada, Logan no soporta la noticia y se va a tomar un Trago, Storm sigue a Logan preocupara por sus reacciones y Bishop, Gambit, Jubilee y Rogue regresan en el Black Bird luego de haber estado en el ataque que le hicieron a Dazzler.

Mr Sinister quiere aprovechar la caída de Xavier para eliminar a los X-men, para eso crea los Sinister Seven quienes van a atacar a de manera sistemática:

-Cyclops, Jean y Bestia son atacados por Hazard.

-Jubilee, Bishop, Rogue y Gambit son atacados por Siena Blaze que posee poderes magnéticos

-Wolverine, Morph y Storm se enfrentan a Sabretooth, Prism y Riptide.

Este cómic narra ese periodo entre la serie animada original y la nueva serie, con información clave de lo que ocurre, logra capturar la dinámica y diálogos de este equipo élite de mutantes, que nos dará ciertas explicaciones de lo que prepara Mr Sinister.

Arte

Captura los diseños retro de la década de los 90 de la serie animada así como los nuevos looks de la nueva serie, con dinamismo y mucha iluminación.

What does it come from?

SABRETOOTH STRIKES! …and he's not the only threat the X-Men are facing! As Jean Grey and Cyclops prepare to embark on a bold new adventure, a sinister foe makes his move from the shadows, unleashing a torrent of new terror. Can an old friend turn the tide - or will it be too late to save Wolverine from being ripped to shreds?!

Plot

This comic takes place nine months before the new animated series X-men '97 on Disney + and just days after the disappearance of Charles Xavier in the final chapter Graduation Day.

Scott has just found out that Jean Gray is pregnant, Logan can't stand the news and goes to have a drink, Storm follows Logan worried about his reactions and Bishop, Gambit, Jubilee and Rogue return in the Black Bird after having been in the attack they did on Dazzler.

Mr. Sinister wants to take advantage of Xavier's fall to eliminate the X-men, for that he creates the Sinister Seven who will systematically attack:

-Cyclops, Jean and Beast are attacked by Hazard. 

-Jubilee, Bishop, Rogue and Gambit are attacked by Siena Blaze who has magnetic powers 

-Wolverine, Morph and Storm face Sabretooth, Prism and Riptide.

This comic narrates that period between the original animated series and the new series, with key information about what happens, it manages to capture the dynamics and dialogues of this elite team of mutants, which will give us certain explanations of what Mr Sinister is preparing.

Art

It captures the retro designs of the 90s from the animated series as well as the new looks of the new series, with dynamism and lots of lighting.
