¿De qué viene?
Jumpscare es la nueva heroína (de terror) más popular de Empire City. Solo quiere arrasar con el mal mientras se gana la admiración de sus numerosos fans. Pero un espantoso mutante llamado Grindhouse ha secuestrado a su hermana. Para salvarla de una probable muerte y una mutación casi segura, Jumpscare tendrá que recurrir a todas las armas de terror de su arsenal. ¡Pero Grindhouse no es el peor de los problemas de Jumpscare! Un horrible grupo de sectarios, el DISMAL CONCORDAT, está tramando planes perversos y mortales para tu nueva justiciera favorita.
Trama
Allie llega hasta donde Grindhouse tiene a su hermana Rebecca secuestrada, ambos empiezan a pelear y Allie casi logra salvar a su hermana usando sus poderes de teletransportación cuando nadie la ve, pero no logra llevarla lejos.
La pelea entre ambos ofrece una secuencia dinámica e hipnotizante, estas páginas son razón suficiente para comprar este cómic.
Pero la situacion cambia cuando Grindhouse revela la razon por la que queria que Jumpscare se presentara, quiere hacer una alianza para detener el plan de DISMAL CONCORDAT, la religión fanática que espera el retorno del LEVIATÁN.
Pero ambos son atrapados por DISMAL CONCORDAT, quienes los encierra en una prisión inmensa hecha de una especie de organismo, porque ellos van a usar los poderes de todos los seres especiales como Jumpscare para traer al Leviatan y a Rebecca la van a usar como alimento.
Impactante capítulo lleno de revelaciones y con un giro brillante, que sigue mezclando el terror cósmico con superhéroes que a su vez hace brillantes tributos a los clásicos del cine del terror.
Arte
Es muy detallado, donde las expresiones faciales transmiten muchísimo, así como el lenguaje corporal que ofrece una mezcla de poses de superhéroes con clásicos movimientos de películas de terror.

Where does it comes from?
Jumpscare is Empire City's hottest new (horror) hero. All she wants to do is hack and slash evil while soaking up the adoration of her many fans. But a gruesome mutant called Grindhouse has kidnapped Jumpscare's sister. In order to save her sister from probable death and almost certain mutation, Jumpscare will need to call on every horror movie weapon in her arsenal. But Grindhouse isn't the worst of Jumpscare's problems! A hideous group of cultists--the Dismal Concordat—are hatching devious and deadly plans for your new favorite vigilante.
Plot
Allie arrives at Grindhouse's kidnapping center, where her sister Rebecca is being held. The two begin to fight, and Allie almost manages to save her sister by using her teleportation powers when no one is looking, but she can't get her away.
The fight between the two offers a dynamic and mesmerizing sequence; these pages are reason enough to buy this comic.
But the situation changes when Grindhouse reveals the reason he wanted Jumpscare to show up: he wants to form an alliance to stop the plan of DISMAL CONCORDAT, the fanatical religion awaiting the return of LEVIATHAN.
But they are both captured by DISMAL CONCORDAT, who locks them in a huge prison made of some kind of organism. They intend to use the powers of all special beings like Jumpscare to bring the Leviathan to the island, and they will use Rebecca as food.
A shocking episode full of revelations and a brilliant twist, which continues to blend cosmic horror with superheroes, while also paying brilliant tribute to classic horror films.
Art
It's highly detailed, with facial expressions conveying a wealth of meaning, as does the body language, which offers a blend of superhero poses with classic horror movie moves.
