Red Sonja es creada por Robert E. Howard de su universo de guerreros, ella proviene de Hyrkania.
Red Sonja regresa con un nuevo equipo creativo, Mark Russel (Lone Ranger) y Bob Q (Lone Ranger), sin embargo continúa con la historia donde se convierte en Reina de Hyrkania y está en guerra contra Dragan.

En Red Sonja #8 , Red Sonja sigue buscando todas las alianzas posibles que le ayuden a detener la invasión de Dragan a Hyrkania. No ha logrado ningún apoyo.
¿Qué sucede?
La serie comienza con la historia del Rey anterior de Hyrkania que fue hace 10 años a la Torre Wigur-Nomadene que le pidió al hechicero que detuviera el ataque de Dragan y lo hizo causando que Dragan olvidara el asunto, pero este hechicero desapareció al Rey de Hyrknia.
Red Sonja se dirige a esta Torre pero no a pedir un favor, le pide una alianza para vencer a Dragan, ya que todos los que vivan en Hyrkania y sus alrededores tiene ese riesgo a cuestas.
Uno de los consejeros de Red Sonja, Fyodr aprovecha la oportunidad de que la reina se fue por unos días y lanza un golpe de estado ayudado por Foghor, Dragan está ganando la batalla.
Red Sonja se dirige a esta Torre pero no a pedir un favor, le pide una alianza para vencer a Dragan, ya que todos los que vivan en Hyrkania y sus alrededores tiene ese riesgo a cuestas.

Red Sonja returns with a new creative team, Mark Russel (Lone Ranger) and Bob Q (Lone Ranger), this comic continues with the story where he becomes Queen of Hyrkania and her war against Dragan.
Where it comes from?
