RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE THE SHAPE OF ELVIRA #3"

Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

El escritor de esta serie David Avallone, es también el encargado del cómic Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

¿De qué viene?

En The Shape of Elvira #2Elvira recobra el conocimiento luego de que le dieran una bebida y se intenta escapar del set de grabación cundo es interceptada por el departamento de Peces y Vida Salvaje del gobierno.

¿Qué sucede?

Elvira es advertida que detrás del traje del monstruo de la laguna, que le llaman Gill, no está ni Daniel Day Lewis, ni Christian Balke, ni Robert De Niro, ella no está convencida de esto pero se devuelve al set a averiguar la verdad.

Mediante pruebas que le hace a su coestrella en el set de filmación, Elvira se empieza a convencer de que algo está pasando, hasta que le da un beso.

Si vienen leyendo el cómic se habrán dado cuenta de que Gill no es humano, es una raza de seres que viven en la Selva Amazónica en Brasil (También Venezuela 😃)

Las sospechas de Elvira consiguen respuesta, en esta entrega llena de comedia, misterio y romance.

REVIEW IN ENGLISH:

Elvira, the late night host of horror films in the 1980s and 1990s incarnated Cassandra Peterson, returns with her adventures in a comic book format. Elvira is a voluptuous and funny woman who loves the horror genre and the gothic look, her film Elvira Mistress of the Dark of the year 1988 is of cult movie. Its main characteristic it's her acute sense of humor / self-conscious and that frequently breaks the fourth wall. This comic highlight all these qualities.

The writer of this series, David Avallone, is also in charge of the comic Elvira Mistress of the Dark.


Where does it come from?

In The Shape of Elvira # 2, Elvira regains consciousness after being given a drink and tries to escape from the movie set when she is intercepted by the government's Fish and Wildlife Department.


What's going on?

Elvira is warned that behind the suit of the monster of the lagoon, which they call Gill, is neither Daniel Day Lewis, nor Christian Balke, or Robert De Niro, she is not convinced of this and returns to the set to find out the truth.

Through tests she does with her co-star on the set, Elvira begins to convince herself that something is happening, until she kisses him.

If you come reading the comic you will have realized that Gill is not human, it is a race of beings that live in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil (Also Venezuela 😃)



Summary
Elvira's suspicions gets an answer in this chapter full of comedy, mystery and romance.
