De los escritores Dave Dwonch (Cyrus Perkins and the Haunted Taxi Cab, Mind Palace), Brockton McKinney (MAD Magazine, Full Moon Deadly Ten films), el prometedor artista Magenta King, junto con La colorista Megan Huang (Jia and the Nian Monster), llega un nuevo tipo de héroe en la próxima miniserie de  Jenny Zero.

Conoce a Jenny Tetsuo, la bebedora y fiestera hija del amado superhéroe Mega Commander Zero. Después de ser despedida como la principal asesina de Kaiju de los militares, "Jenny Zero" ahora vive la vida de celebutante con su heredera del hotel y mejor amiga publicista, Dana Sheraton. Pero cuando regresen las enormes criaturas, Jenny deberá decidir si puede recuperar la sobriedad y salvar al mundo.

Jenny Zero combina humor, corazón y monstruos para crear un super héroe mezclado, agitado, revuelto y perfectamente imperfecto.

Trama

La historia comienza mostrando la vida desordenada de Jenny , su bebida descontrolada y vida de fiesta, pero es de nuevo reclutada por la ASP ACTION SCIENCE POLICE, organismo dedicado a desarrollar la tecnología para detener Kaiju, el detalle es que su máximo héroe Mega Commander Zero (padre de Jenny) falleció, necesitan las habilidades de Jenny para una nueva ola de ataques.

Jenny se enfrenta contra estos Kaiju pero su misma excesiva confianza la hace ser atrapada por un monstruo y para liberarla le disparan y al parecer su sangre se mezcla con la del Kaiju y Jenny aumenta a un tamaño gigante.

Este cómic posee una narrativa dinámica donde la historia se centra en la heroína.

Arte

El arte es muy orgánico mostrando con una gran tendencia hacia el manga.

What does it come from?

Sex, Drugs, and Giant Monsters!

Meet Jenny Tetsuo, the hard drinkin', hard partyin' daughter of beloved superhero, Mega Commander Zero. After washing out as the military's top Kaiju-killer, ''Jenny Zero'' now lives the celebutante life with her hotel heiress and publicist best friend, Dana Sheraton. But when the massive creatures return, Jenny must decide if she can sober up and save the world! 

Plot

The story begins by showing Jenny's disorderly life, her uncontrolled drinking and party life, but she is again recruited by the ASP ACTION SCIENCE POLICE, an organization dedicated to developing the technology to stop Kaiju, the detail is that her maximum hero Mega Commander Zero (Jenny's father) passed away, they need Jenny's skills for a new wave of attacks.

Jenny faces against these Kaiju but the same excessive confidence of her causes her to be caught by a monster and to free her from her they shoot her and apparently her blood mixes with that of the Kaiju and Jenny increases to a giant size.

This comic has a dynamic narrative where the story centers on the heroine, her funny comebacks and tough character.

Art

The art is very organic showing a great tendency towards manga.
