Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + The Divine, Uncanny X-Men, Thor) y Esad Ribić (Secret Wars, King Thor) unen fuerzas este enero para redefinir una de las mitologías más fascinantes de Marvel en ETERNALS. Este universo tendrá su versión fílmica en el MCU en noviembre.
¿De qué viene?

¿Qué sentido tiene una batalla eterna? Durante millones de años, cien Eternos han vagado por la Tierra, son los protectores secretos de la humanidad. Sin ellos, seríamos migajas entre los dientes de los de demoníacos Deviants.
La guerra entre los Eternals y los Deviant se ha librado por toda la eternidad, haciéndose eco de nuestros mitos y pesadillas. Pero hoy, los Eternals se enfrentan a algo nuevo: EL CAMBIO ¿Pueden ellos, o cualquiera en la Tierra, sobrevivir a este descubrimiento?
TRAMA
Phastos intenta poner a funcionar la máquina otra veza través de mecanismos con un martillo especial pero no logra cambiar la situación.
Sersi se va a reunir con los Avengers illuminati para ver si ellos tiene algún dato un información de lo que está haciendo sobre Thanos, su estrategia es seducir a Tony Stark para conseguir información adicional. La actitud de superioridad de Sersi es hilarante.
Otro lado y Ikaris está cuidando al niño Tony Robson con la ayuda de Sprite. Ikaris desde el cielo y Sprite como un agente infiltrado.
Thena y Kingo siguen buscando al traidor entre los 100 eternals y se van a la ciudad de Polaria gobernada por Druig. Thena y Kingo consideran no confían en Druig pero la repentina aparición de Thanos los convence que Druig no es el traidor y luchan contra Thanos, logra escapar pero Druig logra meterse en su mente.
Esta serie mantiene al lector en una emocionante tensión constante.
Pero al final todo cambia cuando Thena y Kingo se van pero Thanos reaparece, Druig lo contactó mentalmente para ponerse a sus órdenes y ayudar al traidor en las filas de los Eternals.
ARTE
Esad Ribic demuestra sus habilidades al adaptar diferentes escenarios muy distintos entre ellos y lograr unas secuencias de batalla epicas.
Resumen
Los Eternals aún no saben quién es el traidor que está ayudando a Thanos a asesinar a todos sin embargo Druig revela su deseos de ser el otro traidor

What's the point of an eternal battle?
For millions of years, one hundred Eternals have roamed the Earth, secret protectors of humanity. Without them, we'd be smears between the teeth of the demon-like Deviants. Their war has waged for all time, echoing in our myths and nightmares.
But today, Eternals face something new: change. Can they - or anyone on Earth - survive their discovery?
PLOT
Phastos tries to put the machine to work another time through mechanisms with a special hammer but cannot change the situation.
Sersi is going to meet with the Avengers Illuminati to see if they have any information about what he is doing about Thanos, his strategy is to seduce Tony Stark to get additional information. Sersi's superior attitude is hilarious.
Ikaris is taking care of the boy Tony Robson with the help of Sprite. Ikaris from the sky and Sprite as an undercover agent.
Thena and Kingo continue searching for the traitor among the 100 Eternals and they go to the city of Polaria ruled by Druig. Thena and Kingo do not trust in Druig but the sudden appearance of Thanos convinces them that Druig is not the traitor and they fight against Thanos, he manages to escape but Druig get into his mind.
This series keeps the reader in an exciting constant tension.
But in the end everything changes when Thena and Kingo leave but Thanos reappears, Druig mentally contacted him to put himself under his command and help the traitor in the ranks of the Eternals.
ART
Esad Ribic demonstrates his skills by adapting very different scenarios and achieving great battle sequences. Every page of this comic is epic.
Resume
The Eternals still don't know who the traitor is that is helping Thanos murder everyone, however Druig reveals his wishes to be the other traitor.
