Han pasado generaciones desde el final de la última batalla de Red Sonja. Su vieja amiga Isolde (la reina de Hyrkania) quiere verla como su último deseo.

Trama
Isolde envejeció y tiene una salud precaria por lo que envía a sus dos lugartenientes más fieles, Tristine y Kentaro, a buscar a Red Sonja que la traigan a Hyrkania y verla por última vez.Kentaro es atrapado y enviado a luchar en una arena del Sultán Kimuch contra un Kraken y Tristine localiza a Red Sonja para que lo socorre.
Red Sonja lo salva y el público se estremece por la emoción en especial el propio Sultan, Red Sonja le pide que no le de la gema de la corona como premio, solo tres esclavos, pero otros guerreros dicen que ella no ganó la batalla de la arena y le piden revancha a ella y a Kentaro.
Mientras Kentaro y Red Sonja luchan, Tristine se aprovecha para negociar más esclavos artesanos para reconstruir Hyrkania, pero el sultán aprovecha para obtener información.
Pero el sultán solo quiere que Red Sonja siga luchando y asesinarla en su arena para ganar dinero y fama y la intenta envenenar. Red Sonja confirma que Kentaro es un guerrero con muy poca experiencia.
Este capitulo esta lleno de misterio, conspiraciones y mucha acción.

PLOT
Isolde aged and in poor health so she sends her two most faithful lieutenants, Tristine and Kentaro, to find Red Sonja to be brought to Hyrkania and to see her one last time. Kentaro is trapped and sent to fight in a Sultan Kimuch arena against a Kraken and Tristine locates Red Sonja to help him.
Red Sonja saves him and the public shudders with emotion, especially the Sultan himself, Red Sonja asks him not to give her the crown gem as a prize, only three slaves, but other warriors say that she did not win the battle of the sand and ask her and Kentaro for revenge.
As Kentaro and Red Sonja fight, Tristine takes advantage to negotiate more artisan slaves to rebuild Hyrkania, but the Sultan takes advantage to obtain information.
But the sultan just wants Red Sonja to keep fighting and murder her in her arena to earn money and fame from her and he tries to poison her. Red Sonja confirms that Kentaro is a warrior with very little experience.
This chapter is full of mystery, conspiracies and a lot of action.
