En Daredevil #28 Matt Murdock es envenenado y Elektra es Daredevil y entrena a una niña huérfana llamada Alice cuya madre fue asesinada por Typhoid Mary.
Trama
Matt Murdock es envenenado en la cárcel, pero se da cuenta a tiempo y no logra engullir na dosis letal, al salir al patio a respirar lo esperan un grupo de presos para asesinarlo. Matt usa las técnicas de meditación que le enseño Stick para recuperar su compostura y luchar.
Elektra le muestra a Alice como lucha en las calles y humilla a la pandilla de la nueva Kingpin Izzy, le advierte que si pisan Hell's Kitchen los atacara y le deben pagar 30 mil dolares solo por la intromisión.
Izzy no toma bien la amenaza y habla con su mano derecha Butchie hijo de Wilson Fisk) que necesita resolver esto. El detalle es que el hermano gemelo de Matt Murdok, Mike se esta haciendo pasar por su hermano y esta ayudando a Butchie a que derroque a Izzy y se convierta en el nuevo Kingpin.
El alcalde Wilson Fisk esta a punto de tener el control de Bullseye nuevo y mejorado gracias a los estudios que paga en secreto en Ravencroft, su objetivo es acabar con Daredevil...pero no se sabe si es Matt o Elektra.

In Daredevil # 28 Matt Murdock is poisoned and Elektra is Daredevil and trains an orphan girl named Alice whose mother was killed by Typhoid Mary.
Plot
Matt Murdock is poisoned in jail, but he realizes in time and fails to swallow a lethal dose, when he goes out to the patio to breathe, a group of prisoners await him to assassinate him. Matt uses the meditation techniques Stick taught him to regain his composure and fight.
Elektra shows Alice how she fights in the streets and humiliates the gang of the new Kingpin Izzy, she warns her that if they step on Hell's Kitchen she will attack them and they must pay her 30 thousand dollars just for the meddling.
Izzy doesn't take the threat well and talks to her right-hand man, Butchie (Wilson Fisk's son) that she needs to figure this out. The detail is that Matt Murdok's twin brother, Mike is posing as his brother and is helping Butchie to overthrow Izzy and become the new Kingpin.
Mayor Wilson Fisk is about to have control of the new and improved Bullseye thanks to the studies that he secretly pays for in Ravencroft, his goal is to finish off Daredevil ... but it is not known if it is Matt or Elektra.
This chapter is full of betrayals, secrets and mysteries closing with Matt fatally wounded in jail
