¿De qué viene?

¡Los héroes latinx definitivos del siglo XXI están aquí! Hace siglos, dos hermanos Mayas construyeron una nave espacial que los envió a toda velocidad al espacio exterior. Al regresar a la Tierra solo para encontrar su cultura y civilización destruidas, uno de los hermanos jura venganza y busca diezmar el planeta con la tecnología intergaláctica reunida en sus viajes. Para evitar esto, su hermano crea un plan de contingencia que activa a los protectores del mundo: tres descendientes de su propia familia a quienes se les ha otorgado un gran poder. Ahora, el destino del universo está en manos de tres primos diseminados por América Central y del Norte que ni siquiera se han conocido.

PRIMOS # 1 estará disponible en versiones en español e inglés en las tiendas de cómics el 2 de febrero de 2022.

Trama 

Esta primera entrega muestra a este trio de super heroes trabajando juntos para detener una amenaza global, Javier, Gina y Ricky, son primos y poderosos.

Ricky explica cómo llegaron a obtener sus poderes y se remonta  a miles de años en el pasado donde los Mayas eran un civilización sumamente avanzada y dos hermanos son enviados a comunicarse con seres superiores, pero una falla en temporal desata la ira de Kan.

La narración es hecha por Ricky y como es un adolescente rebelde es muy divertida su manera de contar su historia de origen, que posee ciertos momentos de autoconsciencia. 

El cómic tanto en idioma español como en inglés es sumamente entretenido, haber leído en ambos idiomas fue genial, pero en especial en español, porque es algo poco común que tomen en cuenta a los lectores latinos con una edición simultánea. 

Arte

Es muy detallado con mucha textura, es hipnotizante. Los colores aportan una frescura con una paleta de colores inspirada en la usada por esta cultura. 

Resumen

Ricky narra su interesante historia de origen, que hace tributo a la interesante cultura y mitologia Maya

What does it come from?

The ultimate Latinx heroes for the 21st Century are here!  Centuries ago, two Mayan brothers constructed a spacecraft that sent them hurtling into outer space.  Returned to Earth only to find their culture and civilization destroyed, one of the brothers vows revenge and seeks to decimate the planet with intergalactic technology gathered on his travels.  To prevent this, his sibling creates a contingency plan that activates the world’s protectors – three descendants of their own family who have been granted great power.  Now, the fate of the universe lies in the hands of three cousins scattered throughout Central and North America who have never even met.
 
PRIMOS #1 will be available in both Spanish and English versions at comics shops on February 2, 2022.

Plot

This first installment shows this trio of super heroes working together to stop a global threat, Javier, Gina and Ricky, they are cousins ​​and powerful.

Ricky explains how they got their powers and goes back thousands of years in the past where the Mayans were a highly advanced civilization and two brothers are sent to communicate with superior beings, but a time glitch unleashes Kan's wrath.

The narration is done by Ricky and since he is a rebellious teenager, his way of telling his origin story  is very funny, which has certain moments of self-awareness,

The comic in both Spanish and English is extremely entertaining, having read in both languages ​​was great, but especially in Spanish, because it is unusual for Latino readers to be taken into account with a simultaneous languages editions.

Art

It's very detailed with a lot of texture, it's mesmerizing. The colors provide a freshness with a color palette inspired by that used by this culture.

Summary

Ricky narrates his interesting origin story, which pays tribute to the interesting Mayan culture and mythology
