TRAMA
Lam, una joven de 19 años narra la historia de su vida a la pareja de esposos Spoons, de quienes desconfía.
Ella fue criada por su padre que la ayudó mucho a superar una discapacidad física, la pérdida de su brazo derecho, luego se distanciaron, Lam se entera de la repentina muerte de su padre y de los secretos que ocultaba.
Lam explica que en el principio de los tiempos existieron dos sustancias opuestas que su padre Cash las llamó Halo y Horns y llegaron con el meteorito Seraphim Stone. La primera ayuda a los humanos a conseguir la luz y la bondad,la segunda saca lo peor de nosotros. Por lo tanto la luz debe opacar a la oscuridad y de eso se encargan unos guerreros legendarios relacionados con Cash.
Esta serie toma todos aquellos elementos comunes en todas las mitologías, religiones etc para explicarlas mediante sus propios términos, es un universo nuevo y al mismo tiempo conocido, brillante introducción. Posee mucho terror y suspenso.
Este cómic ofrece una mejora desde todo punto de vista. Primero se vende inicialmente como una exclusividad digital para luego pasar a salir en formato impreso, una inteligente ingeniería inversa de como funciona el mercado tradicional. Segundo la manera de narrar este comic es genial, porque ofrece una distribución de paneles que funcionan en paralelo con la narración. Tercero, introducen a una heroína con discapacidad, algo innovador que no es común.
ARTE
Es orgánico y muy detallado, donde Greg Capullo ofrece las mejores secuencias y expresiones faciales que ha ilustrado hasta la fecha. Las tintas de Glapion y los colores de McCaig ofrecen el balance perfecto de terror y suspenso.

Since the very dawn of man, legends have been told of the conflict between angel and demon-kind. Lam Lyle, a woman of science, dismissed these stories as just that--fiction. But when the loss of a loved one leads to the discovery of a hulking, benevolent demon named Hellvis, Lam realizes that her life is about to undergo a dire new direction. With a newfound partner and awesome powers now at her disposal, our hero suddenly finds herself thrust into a climactic war of good and evil with no less than the fate of the world hanging in the balance . . .
PLOT
Lam, a 19-year-old girl tells the story of her life to the married couple Spoons, whom she mistrusts.
She was raised by her father who helped her a lot to overcome a physical disability, the loss of her right arm, then they distanced herself from her, Lam finds out about the sudden death of her father and the secrets that he hid.
Lam explains that in the beginning of time there were two opposite substances that her father Cash called them Halo and Horns and they arrived with the Seraphim Stone meteorite. The first helps humans achieve light and goodness, the second brings out the worst in us. Therefore, the light must overshadow the darkness and that is taken care of by legendary warriors related to Cash.
This series takes all those common elements in all mythologies, religions etc to explain them through their own terms, it is a new universe and at the same time known, brilliant introduction. It has a lot of terror and suspense.
This comic offers an improvement from every point of view. First it is initially sold as a digital exclusivity and then it goes on to come out in print format, a clever reverse engineering of how the traditional market works. Second, the way of narrating this comic is great, because it offers a distribution of panels that work in parallel with the narration. Third, they introduce a heroine with a disability, something innovative that is not common.
ART
It's organic and highly detailed, with Greg Capullo providing the best sequences and facial expressions he's illustrated to date. Glapion's inks and McCaig's colors offer the perfect balance of horror and suspense.
Summary
Lam discovers the powerful secrets of her father and must take on a very dangerous responsibility.
