¿De qué viene?

Tres cadáveres yacían en una morgue rural, todos asesinados en el lapso de tres semanas. Depende de dos detectives de lados opuestos de las vías determinar quién los puso allí, si los asesinatos están relacionados y qué tienen que ver, en todo caso, con un par de concesionarios de automóviles. Un thriller de misterio y comedia oscura de Jeff McComsey (Grendel, Kentucky) y Mike Deodato Jr. (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Resistance) que está inspirado en una extravagante historia de crímenes reales, la historia de The Fourth Man te mantendrá adivinando hasta la última página. 

Trama 

Comienza analizando uno de los tres cadáveres que aparecen en menos de un mes en Medford Pennsylvania, EE.UU en el año 1991, que dos detectives de la policía sienten que están conectados. Esta entrega analiza lo que le ocurrió al cadáver más reciente, se llama James Wells.

Wells es un detective privado trabaja para John Romano, el dueño de una venta de carros que le molesta la competencia de D'Agostino Motors, así que Romano contrata a Wells para que los elimine...pero algo sale mal.

Este primer capítulo es intenso, lleno de acción, violencia y mucho misterio policial.

Arte

Tiene una textura aunada a muchos detalles que ofrecen ese tono de crimen policial muy real, todas las secuencias de acción son muy explícitas, el manejo de la distribución de los paneles ofrecen un dinamismo narrativo precioso. Deodato de nuevo maneja sus habilidades y muestra una nueva faceta artística, admirable. Los colores mezcla el tono sepia con colores vivos que nos traslada a los noventa.

Resumen

El ultimo cadáver encontrado empieza a develar una posible guerra entre mafias automotrices.

What does it come from?

Three dead bodies lay in a rural morgue - all murdered in the span of three weeks. It's up to two detectives from opposite sides of the tracks to determine who put them there, if the murders are linked and what, if anything, they have to do with a pair of dueling car dealerships. A dark comedy mystery thriller by Jeff McComsey (Grendel, Kentucky) and Mike Deodato Jr. (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Resistance) that is inspired by an outlandish true crime story, The Fourth Man story will keep you guessing till the last page.

Plot

It begins by analyzing one of three death bodies that turn up in less than a month in Medford Pennsylvania, USA in 1991, that two police detectives feel are connected. This installment looks at what happened to the most recent dead body found, his name is James Wells.

Wells is a private detective working for John Romano, the owner of a car dealership who is annoyed by competition from D'Agostino Motors, so Romano hires Wells to eliminate them...but something goes wrong.

This first chapter is intense, full of action, violence and a lot of police mystery.

Art

It has a texture coupled with many details that offer that very real police crime tone, all the action sequences are very explicit, the handling of the distribution of the panels offers a beautiful narrative dynamism. Deodato again manages his abilities and shows a new artistic facet, admirable. The colors mix the sepia tone with bright colors that takes us back to the nineties.

Summary

The latest body found begins to reveal a possible war between automotive mafias.
