DARK HORSE BOOKS PRESENTA EL VOLUMEN 1 DE “HANS VOGEL IS DEAD”

 

Próximamente en Dark Horse Books llega Hans Vogel is Dead Volume 1, el primer libro de una nueva trilogía de la historiadora convertida en dibujante Sierra Barnes (Glory, Ecaterina Teodoroiu). Originalmente debutando como webcomic, luego en Kickstarter y eventualmente en Cast Iron Books en el Reino Unido, este cuento de hadas antifascista se enfoca en la importancia de reconocer los errores del pasado. El primer volumen en rústica contará con una nueva portada, así como una sección de cuaderno de bocetos ampliada.

SINOPSIS
Es el apogeo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, y las fuerzas nazis están recorriendo Europa. El condecorado piloto de combate alemán Hans Vogel sigue órdenes y no hace preguntas. Ha funcionado bien para él... hasta ahora. Pero cuando su avión es derribado en medio de un ataque aéreo sobre Londres, está muerto antes de tocar el suelo. Y ese es solo el comienzo de sus problemas.

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (January 19, 2022)— Coming soon from Dark Horse Books is Hans Vogel is Dead Volume 1, the first book in a new trilogy by historian-turned-cartoonist Sierra Barnes (Glory, Ecaterina Teodoroiu). Originally debuting as a webcomic, then on Kickstarter and eventually Cast Iron Books in the UK, this anti-fascist fairytale focuses on the importance of recognizing past wrongs. The first paperback volume will feature new cover art as well as an expanded sketchbook section.   It’s the height of WWII, and the Nazi forces are driving through Europe. Decorated German fighter pilot Hans Vogel follows orders and doesn’t ask questions. It’s worked out well for him… so far. But when his plane is shot down in the middle of an air raid over London, he is dead before he hits the ground. And that’s only the beginning of his problems.
