¿De qué viene?
¿No te has preguntado siempre qué hacen los monstruos slasher (la familia enmascarada que invade el hogar, el monstruo insensato e imposible de matar, el asesino en serie atrapado en una muñeca) durante ese par de años entre sus juergas de asesinatos? Están en Wilmhurst, una comunidad cerrada en medio de la nada donde se relajan, o lo intentan, hasta que reciben la llamada para salir y matar de nuevo.
Connor Hayes sobrevivió a su primer slasher en un campamento de verano. Un puñado de años después, apenas escapó de un psicópata que construía acertijos de tortura para sus víctimas. Desde entonces ha estado entrenando y planeando volver a encontrarse con estas criaturas. Es un agente especial respetado, y ahora sabe dónde están los monstruos y está planeando la guerra.
TRAMA
En la urbanización privada de WILMHURST viven un grupo de asesinos en serie, este lugar se rige por muchas reglas de manera que sus habitantes puedan seguir viviendo en la clandestinidad, ya que todos sus crímenes lo realizan en otro lado y se refugian es este lugar, donde logran tapar todas sus huellas.
Pero cuando el Profesor Puzzleman se desespera por tener mucho tiempo sin asesinar, entonces decide asesinar a un gran grupo de adolescentes con sus trampas, pero son tan malas que varios escapan para ser eliminados por los vecinos. Solo Linus Merriweather logra salir con vida sin que nadie se de cuenta.
La líder de esta comunidad se llama Zel, quien está agotada de intentar contener a todos estos psicóticos y mantener su anonimato, pero cuando Linus se entrevista con el agente Connor Hayes, se activan las alarmas y Wilmhurst deja de ser un lugar secreto.
Este comic maneja el humor negro en unas circustancias de de terror espeluznantes, es un balance genial de una histori unica.
ARTE
Posee muchas texturas que le otorgan un tono lúgubre interesante para luego balancearse con las expresiones faciales hilarantes de todos estos psicóticos que están perdiendo sus habilidades de asesinos.
Resumen
Con una premisa brillante este cómic deja claro que los asesinos en serie slashers están organizados, pero no mucho.

What does it come from?
Haven't you always wondered what slasher monsters--the masked home invasion family, the mindless unkillable monster, the serial killer trapped in a doll--what they do for those couple of years in-between their murder sprees? They're at Wilmhurst--a gated community in the middle of nowhere where they relax--or try to--until they get the call to go out and kill again.
Connor Hayes survived his first slasher in summer camp. A handful of years later he barely escaped a psychopath who built torture puzzles for his victims. Since then he's been training and planning for running into these creatures again. He's a respected special agent, and now he knows where the monsters lie and he's planning for war.
PLOT
A group of serial killers live in the private urbanization of WILMHURST, this place is governed by many rules so that its inhabitants can continue living in hiding, since all their crimes are carried out elsewhere and they take refuge in this place. where they manage to cover all their tracks.
But when Professor Puzzleman becomes desperate for a long time without killing, he decides to murder a large group of teenagers with his traps, but they are so bad that several escape to be eliminated by the neighbors. Only Linus Merriweather manages to get out alive without anyone noticing.
The leader of this community is called Zel, who is exhausted from trying to contain all these psychotics and keep her anonymity, but when Linus meets with agent Connor Hayes, alarm bells go off and Wilmhurst is no longer a secret place.
This comic handles black humor in creepy horror circumstances, it's a great balance of a unique story.
ART
It has a lot of textures that give it an interesting gloomy tone to later balance with the hilarious facial expressions of all these psychotics who are losing their assassin skills.

With a brilliant premise, this comic makes it clear that slasher serial killers are organized, but not really.
