Gracias a un elenco global de artistas extraordinarios, Marvel Comics sigue ofreciendo algunas de las portadas más impactantes de la industria. From the latest Muppets Variant Cover to an epic connecting cover for Daredevil, this week has something for every Marvel fan.

 

·       Emma Frost meets Miss Piggy in Annie Wu’s Muppet Variant Cover for X-MEN UNITED #7, part of a series of covers celebrating the 50^th anniversary of “The Muppet Show.” This glamorous—and formidable—duo will also team up in Chip Zdarsky and Pete Woods’ story in The Muppets Take the Marvel Universe #1.

·       This September, Marvel’s Stormbreakers celebrate the season in new Fall Fantasies Variant Covers, featuring Marvel heroes embracing their favorite fall traditions. Jonas Scharf’s newly revealed BLACK CAT #14 cover shows Felicia Hardy and some feline friends frolicking through a pile of colorful leaves.

·       Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett’s hit new Daredevil run continues in DAREDEVIL #6, kicking off a new arc, “Of Moles & Owls,” as Daredevil is caught in the crossfire of a deadly new crime war. The arc features interior art by special guest artist Flaviano who also drew connecting covers for DAREDEVIL #6-7 spotlighting the villains Daredevil will face.

·       Spinning out of Avengers: Armageddon, Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto’s new run of AVENGERS launches this November. The debut issue will be the latest comic available in True Believers Blind Bags. Iconic artist Mr Garcin delivers a show-stopping variant cover in his signature collage style that features images of the original team lineup within the Avengers logo with images of the all-new lineup surrounding it. Garcin’s cover will be a regular orderable cover.

·       Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD MARY JANE is a new limited series following Mary Jane Watson in the aftermath of Queen in Black. One of the covers shown was by Peach Momoko, part of the visionary artist’s new Momo-Tone Variant Cover collection. These painted covers will arrive in shops this November and the full announcement and more of covers in the collection will be revealed in the weeks ahead.

La nueva línea Midnight de Marvel rompe con todos los esquemas. Desde portadas ocultas hasta un lanzamiento exclusivo el mismo día, la audaz narrativa de la línea se complementa con iniciativas editoriales innovadoras diseñadas para entusiasmar a las tiendas de cómics y a los fans. Hoy, Marvel Comics presenta con orgullo nuevas portadas variantes para los números debut: MIDNIGHT SPIDER-MAN #1, de Phillip Kennedy Johnson y ScieTronc; MIDNIGHT FANTASTIC FOUR #1, de Benjamin Percy y Kev Walker; y MIDNIGHT X-MEN #1, de Jonathan Hickman y Matteo Della Fonte. The new Midnight line will debut ongoing variant cover programs, with recurring themes across Covers A-E, as well as additional variant covers.

 

New York, NY— July 15, 2026 — Marvel’s new Midnight line is breaking all the rules. From Cloaked Covers to a dedicated same-day release, the line’s bold storytelling is matched by innovative publishing initiatives designed to spark excitement for comic shops and fans. Today, Marvel Comics proudly unveils new variant covers for the debut issues—MIDNIGHT SPIDER-MAN #1 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and ScieTronc, MIDNIGHT FANTASTIC FOUR #1 by Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker, and MIDNIGHT X-MEN #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Della Fonte—and announces all-new ONGOING VARIANT COVER PROGRAMS for the three titles.

 

While the stories found inside the Midnight series may be unpredictable, it’ll be easier than ever before for fans to pick out the cover of their choice. Starting with issue #1, each MIDNIGHT series will feature recurring themes across Covers labeled A-E. On sale September 16, the highly anticipated milestone issue, destined to take its place in comic book history, delivers both a major turning point for Joe Kelly’s run and an incredible lineup of anniversary stories celebrating Spider-Man’s legacy. The landmark issue will feature two main covers, one from each of the current run’s lead artists. Legendary artist John Romita Jr. joins acclaimed illustrator Paolo Rivera for a stunning painted cover, while modern superstar Pepe Larraz delivers a striking traditional piece. Both artists are also contributing variant covers for the issue.

Hoy se revelan una portada variante metalizada de Ed McGuinness inspirada en la portada de Amazing Spider-Man #100 de John Romita Sr., una nueva y dinámica obra de Skottie Young, una impresionante portada de J. Scott Campbell, una portada de Ryan Stegman que destaca al nuevo supervillano Ravage, y la pieza final de la aclamada serie de portadas Amazing Visions de Lee Bermejo.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000, the upcoming milestone issue by Joe Kelly and Pepe Larraz, with additional anniversary stories by superstar talent, arrives on September 16.

New York, NY— June 25, 2026 — The countdown to AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000 continues today with new variant cover reveals! 

 

On sale September 16, the highly anticipated milestone issue, destined to take its place in comic book history, delivers both a major turning point for Joe Kelly’s run and an incredible lineup of anniversary stories celebrating Spider-Man’s legacy. As fans have been buzzing about online, the landmark issue will feature two main covers, one from each of the current run’s lead artists. Legendary artist John Romita Jr. joins acclaimed illustrator Paolo Rivera for a stunning painted cover, while modern superstar Pepe Larraz delivers a striking traditional piece. Both artists are also contributing variant covers for the issue. Larraz’s variant cover was unveiled last month, while Romita Jr.’s will be revealed next week.

 

“Our announcement of the added Pepe Larraz cover seems to have been misunderstood. In addition to John Romita Jr. and Paolo Rivera’s jam cover, we also wanted to highlight the ‘#1000’ more concretely, hence Pepe’s cover with color artist Marte Gracia,” Editor Nick Lowe explained. “Our goal is to bring as many legendary Spider-Man artists together for this monumental celebration.”

 

“What a pleasure it’s been to see readers celebrate my work on Amazing Spider-Man over the years and show support for the cover I did with Paolo Rivera for the upcoming issue #1000!” Romita Jr. shared. “I’m honored to work on yet another milestone issue for Spidey, and this one is especially big—so big that it has not one but two primary covers, one by me and one by my fellow Amazing Spider-Man artist, Pepe Larraz! AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000 will also feature a spectacular lineup of variant covers from some of the industry’s most celebrated artists. Revealed today are a foil variant cover by Ed McGuinness inspired by John Romita Sr.’s Amazing Spider-Man #100 cover, a dynamic new piece by Skottie Young, a stunning cover from J. Scott Campbell, a cover by Ryan Stegman spotlighting the new supervillain Ravage, and the final piece in Lee Bermejo’s acclaimed Amazing Visions cover series.

 

One of the issue’s special anniversary stories comes from comic book legend Larry Lieber, who helped shape the very foundation of the Marvel Universe, including work on some of Spider-Man’s earliest stories.
