RESEÑA DE "EMPRESS #7" EL FINAL DEL PRIMER VOLUMEN





La historia sobre la emperatriz fugitiva llega al final....del primer volumen, donde las sorpresas abundarán. Esta séptima entrega confirma los sentimientos ocultos entre Emporia y Dane, mientras Aine molesta llama a su padre, el terrible Rey Morax para que la lleve a su casa, sin saber lo despiadado y cruel que es.



Por otro lado la hermana y cuñado de Emporia revelan que son impostores y que están decididos a entregarlos a Morax y cobrar la recompensa, solo que desconocen lo que tiene preparado Tor.


Este cómic posee 40 paginas, es decir, 18 adicionales de lo normal, por lo tanto es una entrega llena de acción donde la batalla final con Morax es espectacular, con un genial giro en la trama que nos habían venido dosificando con pequeñas pistas desde el primer número.

El arte de Stuart Immonem es increíblemente dinámico, un balance perfecto entre acción y drama, apoyado por las tintas de Wade Von Grawbadger y los colores de Ive Svorcina, es difícil imaginar otro equipo creativo más adecuado para esta historia.



Finalmente Mark Millar crea una final genial de esta épica novela de ciencia ficción, solo deja un cabo suelto que abre las puertas para una esperada secuela, definitivamente un genio en lo que hace.


Recuerden que este cómic está en proceso de tener su versión cinematográfica en manos de la productora de Joe Roth y Jeff Kirschenbaum quienes trabajaron en la primera adaptación de Millar, Wanted, el guión es de F. Scott Frazier (es el guionista de xXx: The Return of Xander Cage), esta película promete mucha ya que posee este primer volumen como base.

Resumen: 
El final del primer volumen de Empress cierra de manera satisfactoria una historia dinámica, donde no se puede detener la lectura de cada capítulo, tanto por el impresionante arte como por la adictiva narración.
La buena noticias es que el segundo volumen viene en camino.

The story about the fugitive Empress comes the end ... of the first volume, where surprises will abound. This seventh installment confirms the hidden feelings between Emporia and Dane, while Aine calls her father, the terrible King Morax to take her home, not knowing how ruthless and cruel he is.

 On the other hand the sister and brother-in-law of Emporia reveal that they are impostors and that they are determined to deliver them to Morax and to receive the reward, only that they do not know what Tor has prepared.

 This comic has 40 pages, 18 extra than normal, so it is an action packed delivery where the final battle with Morax is spectacular, with a great twist in the plot that had been dosed us with small tracks since the first issue.

 The art of Stuart Immonem is incredibly dynamic, a perfect balance between action and drama, supported by the inks of Wade Von Grawbadger and the colors of Ive Svorcina, it's hard to imagine another creative team more suitable for this story.

 Finally Mark Millar delivers a great final of this epic science fiction novel, only leaves a loose end that opens the doors for an expected sequel, without a doubt he is a genius in what he does.

 Remember that this comic is in the process of having its film version in the hands of the producers Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum who worked on the first adaptation of Millarworld book, Wanted, the script is by F. Scott Frazier (the writer of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage), this film promises a lot since it has this first volume as foundation.

 Summary:
The end of the first volume of Empress closes in a satisfactory way a dynamic history, where the reading of each chapter can not be stopped, because the astonishing art and the addictive narration.
The good news is that the second volume is on the way.

RESEÑA DE "EMPRESS #6" DE MARK MILLAR Y STUART IMMONEM




Esta es la penúltima entrega de esta espectacular mini-serie de intensa ciencia ficción reforzada con una trama humana, un pleito familiar, donde el escape de Emporia de su terrible esposo el dictador Morax hizo que sus hijos Aine, Adam y Puck fuesen atrapados por unos mercenarios espaciales.



Claro está que los tres hijos se lograron liberar, pero ese escape hizo que la nave donde viajaban empezara a colapsar, en eso cerró el número anterior, este número 6, muestra cómo son rescatados por Emporia, Dane y Tor. 



El ritmo de acción desenfrenado con que venía esta historia reduce su intensidad, para dar entender que todo no es blanco y negro, que las razones del escape de Emporia podrían ser otras, revelan su atracción hacia su guardaespaldas Dane, algo que Aine su hija mayor no acepta, ella siempre estuvo en contra de escaparse ya que es la más apegada de Morax.


La versatilidad artística de Stuart Immonem se demuestra en esta entrega, donde deja a un lado las explosiones y aventuras para destacar las relaciones y sentimientos de los personajes.


La historia de Mark Millar es adictiva, es imposible parar de leer.

De nuevo un agradecimiento al equipo de MillarWorld por permitirnos realizar esta reseña.

Entre más se acerca el final, más nos convencemos de la calidad artística y de contenido de Empress, este penúltimo capítulo nos prepara para las revelaciones y giros inesperados de la trama con que cerrará este primer volumen, ya viene la confrontación final. No importa que la portada revele información importante del cómic, vale la pena leerlo, sumamente entretenido

This is the penultimate installment of this spectacular mini-series of intense sci-fi reinforced with a human story, a family brawl where the escape of Emporia from her terrible husband the dictator Morax, puts his sons Aine, Adam and Puck in danger.

 Of course the three children but did managed to free from the ship they were held, but because the fight the space ship began to collaps, this number 6 shows how they are rescued by Emporia, Dane and Tor.

 The pace of unbridled action that this series had reduces its intensity, in order to understand that not everything is black and white, that the reasons for the escape of Emporia could be others, it reveal his attraction to her bodyguard Dane, something that Aine his eldest daughter does not accept.
Stuart Immonem artistic versatility is demonstrated in this installment, which sets aside explosions and adventures to highlight relationships and the true feelings of the characters.

 The story of Mark Millar is addictive, it's impossible to stop reading.

 Again a big thanks to the Millarworld  team for allowing us to perform this review.

The more the end approaches, the more we are convinced of the artistic quality and content of Empress, this penultimate chapter prepares us for the revelations and unexpected plot twists that will close this first volume, the final confrontation. No matter idf the copver reveal important  informaction, the comic is worth reading, highly entertaining

RESEÑA DE "EMPRESS #5" DE MARK MILLAR Y STUART IMMONEM



Empress #5 continúa donde nos dejó el número anterior, con los mercenarios Red Cobb y Sailor Jank secuestrando a todos por rehenes y dividiéndolos en dos grupos, uno con los adultos Emporia, Dane y Tor y otro con los jóvenes y niños Aine, Adam y Puck, lo interesante es que ambos equipos no se ha dado por vencido, están buscando la manera de escaparse.




Entre tanto el terrible Rey Morax sigue el rastro de su esposa y familia, pero dejando una estela de muerte y destrucción, el último planeta que visitó es Aramis, donde mandó a ejecutar a todos los testigos que fueron incapaces de detener a su familia fugitiva, aparte de eso se entera de que Tor está con ellos. Morax muestra  de nuevo ser un déspota y cruel dictador.

Este cómic muestra las capacidades de todos en sus propios campos, sobretodo las habilidades de Adam en ingeniería y la de Aine en batalla cuerpo a cuerpo, un punto interesante ya que empezamos a ver las personalidades marcadas de cada uno, entiendes por qué Emporia se los llevó, sin duda esta entrega está cargada de acción sin parar.



El arte de Stuart Immonem asombra página a página, te ubica y transporta a nuevos mundos y diferentes tecnologías, con total acierto, estás siempre ubicado en la trama, una claridad en el dinamismo y una dedicación en los detalles admirable. Atentos con el espectacular homenaje a Indiana Jones y el Templo de la Perdición. 

Por otro lado la trama de Mark Millar sigue inyectando emoción, pero se siente que pronto tendrá un explosivo giro de la trama con una terrible revelación, que esperamos con ansias, la historia sigue un ritmo impredecible y satisfactorio, es casi imposible dejar de leerla hasta. Cierra con una escena abierta que les quitará el aliento

 Resumen: 
Sin lugar a duda Empress es la mini-serie que mezcla perfectamente acción, emoción y ciencia ficción, este quinto número certifica su calidad y capacidad de asombro que te lleva y casi obliga a leer página a página sin parar, donde conocemos cada vez más a los personajes pero poco de su pasado, por lo tanto es necesario que sus razones y agendas secretas sean reveladas pronto.

Empress # 5 continues where we left us the previous number, with the mercenaries Red Cobb and Sailor Jank abducting all and dividing them into two groups, one with the adults Emporia, Dane and Tor and another with the youth and children Aine, Adam and Puck, the interesting thing is that both teams have not given up, they are looking for ways to escape.

 Meanwhile the terrible King Morax follows the steps of his wife and family, but leaving a trail of death and destruction, the last planet visited is Aramis, where he killed all the witnesses who were unable to stop his runaway family, and he learns that Tor is with them. Morax shows again be a despot and cruel dictator.

 This comic shows the capabilities of everyone in their own fields, especially the skills of Adam in engineering and Aine in battle melee, an interesting point so we begin to see the personalities marked on each one, we begin to understand why Emporia took their children away, and without a doubt this issue is loaded with non-stop action.

 Stuart Immonem's art amazes page after page, he manges to locate and transport the reader to new a worlds and different technologies, with total success, the clarity in the dynamism and dedication to the details is admirable. Don´t miss with the spectacular homage to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

 On the other hand the plot of Mark Millar continues to inject excitement but feels he will soon have an explosive plot twist with a terrible revelation, the story follows an unpredictable and satisfactory pace, it is almost impossible to stop reading it. It closes with a scene that will take your breath

Summary:
Undoubtedly Empress is the mini-series that perfectly blends action, emotion and science fiction, this fifth number certifies its quality and sense of wonder that takes you almost forced to read page by page without stopping, as we know increasingly the characters but little of his past, therefore it is necessary to be revealed soon their reasons and secret agendas.
