Above all thanks to the team of Millarworld for providing this first volume, which goes on sale on Wednesday 20 July, including the # 1 to # 6.
This volume of this mini-series reveals the origin of this new super-hero, the most humble and with a huge heart, who makes several good deeds everyday, always anonymously, he understands that his powers must serve a greater good, it's clear that these good deeds extend beyond their town. Huck is considered shy and somewhat slow, and only known to be an orphan, that somebody left him in a hospital, with the note "please love him."
But everything gets complicated when Diane, begins to suspect of Huck, because he regained his chain of a lake, and she alerts the media in exchange for money, generating a hysteria in Huck's home, many with questions other with requests, making him a public figure.
Among the powers of Huck is the super-strength, super-power and some psychic ability that allows you to locate anyone or home if you have a photo.
With this notoriety a figure from his past appears, with the response of their origin, the "brother" of Huck, who promises him the location of his mother, this makes embark on the search, of course, doing a good deed where they could, but when he find his nmother it was just a trap from Profesor Orlov, the only villain in this series.
The origin of Huck is from an experiment in the Cold War, the Soviet Union, slightly related to the same race in the creation of super-soldier brought in MPH, this is an element that links in one universe to all books of Millarworld.
The final battle is exciting, this great story closes with a flourish, this series had a series of alternate covers called Feel Good, which pay tribute to films that have good vibes that make us feel good.
The art comes from the hand of the experienced Rafael Albuquerque (American Vampire), who improved dramatically his strokes, which already was excellent, he outdid himself, manages to convey the strength and tenderness of Huck , their planes are spectacular and the poses, is undoubtedly his best work to date.
The plot of Mark Millar It's surprising, it's amazing how he works outside his comfort zone, each of his Millarworld mini-series has a different theme, this comic is certainly something that comes out of his range of work with a moral, try make you feel good to others, do at least one good deed a day anonymously is certainly an excellent initiative, which should be taught to future generations, at the moment where there is so much violence, selfishness, intolerance and injustice, we need these stories.
