¡EL EQUIPO DE SUPERHÉROES MÁS LETAL DE MARVEL SE ENFRENTA A UNA TRAICIÓN IMPACTANTE EN NEW AVENGERS #6!

Portada de STEPHEN SEGOVIA

El Soldado del Invierno. Viuda Negra. Namor. Clea. Carnage. Wolverine.

MARVEL'S DEADLIEST SUPER HERO TEAM FACE A SHOCKING BETRAYAL IN NEW AVENGERS #6!

This November, NEW AVENGERS #6 kicks off the second arc of Sam Humphries and Ton Lima’s hit new run!

New York, NY— August 15, 2025 — The Winter Soldier. Black Widow. Namor. Clea. Carnage. Wolverine. The six deadliest loners in the Marvel Universe have assembled as the NEW AVENGERS, but following their brutal first mission, one member will be exposed as a traitor!

Originally announced as NEW THUNDERBOLTS*, NEW AVENGERS by writer Sam Humphries and artist Ton Lima is one of the hottest comic book launches of the summer, bringing together a revolutionary lineup of the Avengers in the same spirit as Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch’s decade-defining New Avengers run. The team’s initial adventure was as unpredictable as they are--hunting down the KILLUMINATI, twisted clones of the original Illuminati. In the aftermath of their first outing, this volatile group forge a mighty alliance, but tensions are higher than ever—especially after they learn one among them is the individual responsible for the Killuminati’s creation! The explosive second arc kicks off in NEW AVENGERS #6 this November. See their newfound trust shattered in Stephen Segovia’s main cover and gather your first clues in Paco Medina’s variant cover, both revealed today!

WHO IS THE TRAITOR?

A catastrophic piece of intel reveals that the mastermind behind the creation of the Killuminati is a member of the New Avengers! As the team musters to stop Iron Apex from creating more Illuminati doubles, paranoia threatens to tear them apart. Can this unstable team hope to survive a traitor in their midst?

"I've fallen in love with these characters and this team so much, and I thought, hey, let's mercilessly tear them apart from the inside!” Humphries said about the second arc. “The New Avengers and the Killuminati are on a collision course, but secrets are plaguing both teams. There's only one person with the big picture. Which side are they on?

"Couldn't be more thrilled to be collaborating with Ton Lima on this arc,” Humphries continued. “His artwork is absolutely sizzling right off the page."

Here’s what critics had to say about NEW AVENGERS so far:

A thrilling, bloody remix of the classic Avengers formula that trades old-school heroics for dangerous alliances and brutal confrontations.

– AIPT Comics

Gritty, chaotic, and brimming with personality.

– Comic Book Dispatch

A solid start to what promises to be an interesting anti-hero epic.

NEW AVENGERS #2 – 75960621145600211
Variante de Killuminati por ROD REIS – 75960621145600251

Previamente anunciado como NEW THUNDERBOLTS* / NEW AVENGERS está protagonizado por Bucky Barnes, Viuda Negra, Hulk, Namor, Lobezno (Laura Kinney), Clea y Carnage (Eddie Brock), un plantel radical de Vengadores inspirado en los Nuevos Vengadores de Brian Michael Bendis y David Finch, que marcaron una década.

NEW AVENGERS #1 – 75960621145600111

NEW KILLUMINATI VARIANT COVERS REVEAL THE TWISTED THREAT THAT ASSEMBLES THE NEW AVENGERS!

Meet the KILLUMINATI, demented duplicates of the original Illuminati who will debut this June in NEW AVENGERS by Sam Humphries and Ton Lima, the series previously announced as NEW THUNDERBOLTS*.

New York, NY— May 8, 2025 — Some threats that arise in the Marvel Universe are so great, they ignite all-new eras of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! This June, the KILLUMINATI, mysterious doubles of the Illuminati, threaten the world, assembling not just the mightiest—but the world’s deadliest heroes in NEW AVENGERS by writer Sam Humphries and artist Ton Lima. Today, behold the KILLUMINATI in all their twisted glory in new PORTADAS VARIANTES DE KILLUMINATI that will be featured on the first five issues of this highly-anticipated ongoing series.

Previously announced as NEW THUNDERBOLTS*, NEW AVENGERS stars Bucky Barnes, Black Widow, Hulk, Namor, Wolverine (Laura Kinney), Clea, and Carnage (Eddie Brock), a radical Avengers roster in the spirit of Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch’s decade-defining New Avengers. It’s a dangerous mix of loners, anti-heroes, killers and monsters, and that’s exactly what’s required to take down the KILLUMINATI! The KILLUMINATI are as unstoppable and ambitious as their original counterparts--only with their worst traits magnified and their hubris unchecked—and if the NEW AVENGERS don’t learn how to work together, these demented doubles will quickly have the world in their grasp!

“My basic concept was -- the Illuminati were seven kings and heroes from seven different corners of the Marvel Universe, so what if we did the same with some of the biggest badasses representing mutants, the mystical world, the Spider family, the gamma family, and so on?” Humphries told IGN in an exclusive interview and first look. “I have immense gratitude for our amazing editor Alanna Smith who supported this idea from the jump, even though she had to liaise with pretty much every Marvel editorial office to make it happen.”

Check out the first four KILLUMINATI VARIANT COVERS by Josemaria Casanovas, Rod Reis, Ivan Tao, and Salvador Larroca and preorder NEW AVENGERS #1 at your local comic shop today!
