Dark Horse trae una historia que sirve de precuela de la nueva edición del exitoso juego de video Assassin's Creed Valhalla de Ubisoft que estrena a finales del 2020.
¿De qué viene?
Noruega. Mediados del siglo IX d.C. Eivor, una guerrera vikinga, observa un pueblo asaltado por un reino vecino. El derramamiento de sangre y el caos estallan cuando ella aprovecha el ataque a su favor, pero ¿será su victoria una bendición para su clan o una terrible maldición? En otra parte, otro vikingo busca un tipo diferente de premio, uno de acero al crisol.
¿Qué sucede?
Eivor, Tora y Dungbread observan a la distancia cómo el reino vecino de Kjotve saquea el pueblo de RUGJAFYLKE, analizando cómo se pueden aprovechar de la situación para ganar indulgencia con el rey Stybjorn (padre de Eivor).
Estos tres guerreros deciden atacar y logran vencer a los soldados de Kjotve y reclaman ese pueblo en el nombre del rey Stybjorn y se llevan a la esclava demente Gull para que sirva de informante ..sin embargo el rey detesta la idea porque no quería ir a la guerra con Kjotve por un pueblo innecesario y Gull podría ser un augurio negativo.
Arte y trama
Este cómic posee un arte interesante y una historia que promete encantar a los fanáticos de la franquicia como a los amantes de los guerreros nórdicos.

Norway. Mid-9th century CE. Eivor, a Viking warrior, observes a village raided by a neighboring kingdom. Bloodshed and mayhem erupt as she seizes the attack in her own favor--but will her victory be a blessing to her clan or a terrible curse? Elsewhere, another Viking searches for a different kind of prize, one of crucible steel . . .
This is the prequel to Ubisoft's next Assassin's Creed game that comes out this Holiday 2020!
What's going on?
Eivor, Tora, and Dungbread watch from a distance as the neighboring kingdom of Kjotve plunders the town of RUGJAFYLKE, discussing how they can take advantage of the situation to gain indulgence from King Stybjorn (Eivor's father).
These three warriors decide to attack and manage to defeat the soldiers of Kjotve and claim that town in the name of King Stybjorn and take the insane slave Gull to serve as an informant, however the king hates the idea because he did not want to go to the war with Kjotve for an unnecessary people and Gull could be a negative omen.
Art and plot
This comic has interesting art and a story that promises to delight fans of the franchise as well as lovers of Nordic warriors.
Summary
With action, dismemberment and territorial struggles, Dark Horse prepares us for a new era of this universe of characters that debuts a new game this year.
