La nueva editorial de cómics Artists, Writers & Artisans viene con mucha fuerza y con varias series por equipos creativos legendarios en la industria del cómic, integrada por Axel Alonso (Ex Editor en Jefe de Marvel Comics) y Bill Jemas (Ex Vice Presidente de Marvel Comics), quienes fungen como CCO y Editor respectivamente.
¿De qué viene?
Benjamin Percy (Year Zero, Wolverine) y Brent Schoonover (Batman ‘66) presentan un thriller psicológico que examina una serie de asesinatos en el corazón rural de Estados Unidos. Una joven con un oscuro secreto familiar se embarca en una búsqueda para cazar al asesino en serie que mató brutalmente a su padre, solo para descubrir que él es solo una pieza de una red nacional del maldad que serpentea en todo el país y se esconde a plena vista. Para atrapar al diablo, primero debes conectarte con tu oscuridad interior.
En Devils Highway #3 Sharon consigue una nueva pista que le dejó un viejo amigo del ejército, Paulie quien le consigue un expediente clasificado donde un detective llamado Quinton Skinner argumentó que existe una organización detrás de todos los asesinatos por camioneros. Esta investigación fue desechada y Skinner es desprestigiado.
Cuando a Sharon le dejan una cascabel en su auto, Skinner aparece y la salva, ayudandándola a seguir la pista sobre criadero de culebras.
¿Qué sucede?
Quinton le explica a Sharon que esta investigación lo consumió y que hay más de un camionero implicado, que es una organización liderada por alguien que se esconde en el internet oscuro, le muestra a Sharon un símbolo/cicatriz de la serpiente en su pecho.
Sharon alquila un camión con Quinton y se van por la carretera para así tratar de ir tras la pista del último asesino que secuestró a Roxie. Quentin está quebrado psicológicamente y ahoga sus penas en el alcohol.
Este viaje en carretera hace que ambos revelen sus heridas, tienen el tiempo en contra ya que Roxie llegó a su destino y está cerca de ser torturada hasta morir. La escena donde muestran el trailer creado para la tortura es escalofriante.
Sharon está buscando información y repartiendo golpes hasta conseguirla.
Arte y Trama
Este cómic se adentra en el terror, mostrando de lo que son capaces estos asesinos. La historia se enfoca en una persecución y el arte eleva la tensión, esta penúltima entrega los dejará con ganas de más.
Sharon y Quinton están tras la pista de este grupo de asesinos en serie obsesionados con las serpientes.
Este comic eleva la intensidad para el cierre en el próximo número.

What's it coming from?
Benjamin Percy (Wolverine) and Brent Schoonover (Batman ‘66) present a nerve-racking thriller examining murder in the dark underbelly of America’s heartland. A young woman with a dark family secret embarks on a quest to hunt down the serial killer that brutally murdered her father – only to discover he is just one piece of a national network of evil that snakes across the country and hides in plain sight. To catch the devil she must first embrace the darkness within.
In Devils Highway # 3 Sharon gets a new lead left by an old friend from the army, Paulie, who gets her a classified file where a detective named Quinton Skinner argued that there is an organization behind all the murders. This investigation was scrapped and Skinner is discredited.
When Sharon is left with a rattle snake in her car, Skinner appears and saves her, helping her track down a snake farm.
Quinton explains to Sharon that this investigation consumed him and that there is more than one trucker involved, which is an organization led by someone hiding in the deep internet, showing Sharon a symbol / scar of the snake on his chest.
Sharon rents a truck with Quinton and they go down the road to try to track down the last killer who kidnapped Roxie. Quentin is psychologically broken and drowns his sorrows in alcohol.
This road trip causes both of them to reveal their personal injuries, they have time against as Roxie reached her final destination and is close to being tortured to death. The scene where it shows the trailer created for torture will run cold your blood.
Sharon is looking for information and hitting anyone that is on her way.
Art and plot.
This comic delves into terror, showing what these killers are capable of, the story focuses on a chase and the art raises the tension, this penultimate installment will leave you wanting for more.
Summary
Sharon and Quinton are on the trail of this group of snake-obsessed serial killers.
This comic raises the intensity for the closing in the next issue.
