¿De Que viene?
De camino a una conferencia de la flota a través de un transbordador, Ed y Gordon captan una señal de socorro de una boya centenaria que pertenece a un barco de la Unión y deciden investigar. Mientras tanto, de regreso en el Orville, Kelly intenta mediar cuando Bortus insiste en inscribir a Topa en la escuela a pesar de que solo tiene unos meses de edad.
¿Qué sucede?
Gordon y John buscan las pistas sobre el funcionamiento de una arma.
Mientras se acerca la flota Krill el tiempo se acaba para Bortus. La revelación es que el arma en realidad tiene la capacidad de eliminar todo un sistema solar de una galaxia, sin embargo la flota Krill ataca y se prepara para conquistar.

Resumen
Orville se logra salvar de un inminente ataque sin embargo el dispositivo de protección se activa pero el planeta queda desprotegido.

This comic picks up where the second season of the TV series left off, written by The Orville executive producer David A. Goodman.
What does it come from?
On their way to a fleet conference via shuttle, Ed and Gordon pick up a distress signal from a century-old buoy belonging to a Union ship and decide to investigate. Meanwhile, back on the Orville, Kelly tries to mediate when Bortus insists on enrolling Topa into school even though he is only a few months old.
What's going on?
Gordon and John search for clues to a weapon's workings.
As the Krill fleet approaches, time is running out for Bortus. The reveal is that the weapon actually has the ability to wipe out an entire solar system from a galaxy, however the Krill fleet attacks and prepares to conquer.
Art and Plot
This comic is dedicated to fans of the TV series and for new readers it can be difficult to catch up. David Cabeza's art is astonishing, detailed and almost hyperreal, it is a visual delight.
Summary
Orville is saved from an imminent attack, however the protection device is activated but the planet remains unprotected.
