Trama
La historia muestra que durante la Guerra Fría, EE.UU y Rusia compiten no solo por llevar al primer hombre a la Luna, compiten por crear el primer superhumano, pero el único éxito no vivió para contarlo. Ahora estos gobiernos se estremecen al enterarse que un multimillonario lo logró. Este punto de partida lleno de misterio y datos históricos es perfecto.
La Doctora Choon-He Chung de Corea, afirma que los superhéroes no van a nacer en Nueva York, Ciudad Gótica o Metropolis, nacerán en Corea, ella sufrió una dura ruptura y decepción que la está llevando a tomar estas medidas...sin importar que esté presa en una celda.
Ella en su afán de innovar y cambiar el mundo en una especie de venganza contra las leyes, decide hacer una especie de concurso donde va a buscar las personas más altruistas del mundo que sean embajadores de sus respectivos continentes...hace una divertida y aguda referencia a Willy Wonka.
Toda esta secuencia de presentación es alucinante, es un mezcla de un evento de tecnología celular con esteroides.
Pero al parecer Choon-He está equivocada...al parecer los superhéroes nacieron antes...
The Amabassadors ofrece una historia que actualiza la narrativa de superhéroes y la ubica en una realidad palpable y fácil de identificar, esta historia es épica, de gran escala e intensa.
Arte
Frank Quitely sin duda asombra con su arte tan detallado, orgánico que parece ser gérmenes miniaturas que se unen para formar esta obra maestra, de nuevo Quitely impresiona y logra unas imágenes alucinantes y algunas llenas de violencia gore.
Resumen
En The Ambassadors narra el nacimiento de los superhéroes en un contexto real e identificable, donde toman a la ligera y lo convierten en un juego. Alucinante historia a gran escala.

Plot
This first issue shows that during the Cold War, the US and Russia compete not only to put the first man on the moon, they compete to create the first superhuman, but the only one success didn't make it. Now both governments are shocked to learn that a billionaire just Made one. This is starting point is full of mystery and historical data, so it's indeed perfect.
Doctor Choon-Hee Chung from Korea, affirms that superheroes are not going to be born in New York, Gotham City or Metropolis, they will be born in Korea, she suffered a hard break and disappointment that is leading her to take these measures... regardless to be imprisoned in a cell.
In her eagerness to innovate and change the world in a kind of revenge against the laws, she decides to do a kind of contest where she will look for the most altruistic people in the world who are ambassadors of their respective continents... she makes a fun and sharp Willy Wonka reference, the dialogue in general it's brilliant.
This whole presentation sequence is mind blowing, it's a mix of a cellular tech event on steroids.
But apparently Choon-He is wrong about the date where superheroes were born..
The Amabassadors offers a story that updates the superhero narrative and places it in a palpable and relatable reality, this story is epic, large scale and intense.
Art
Frank Quitely undoubtedly amazes with his art so detailed, organic that it seems to be miniature germs that come together to form this masterpiece.
Summary
The Ambassadors chronicles the birth of superheroes in a real and relatable context and turn it into a game. Mind blowing story on a grand scale.
