Un encuentro con el Doctor Muerte en Latveria obliga a Steve a enfrentarse a las realidades del duro mundo en el que ha despertado. Mientras tanto, Dave Colton y los Comandos Aulladores se infiltran en la fortaleza de Muerte para rescatar rehenes, pero en su lugar descubren una siniestra verdad tras su ascenso al poder...
Trama
Steve Rogers y Marius Wolf (líder de la resistencia contra Doom en Latveria) son acorralados por Doom y sus Doombots. Doctor Doom le explica a Cap su retorcida y tiránica visión política del mundo, que lo admira como símbolo así como el potencial de su nación.
Toda esta conversación con Doom hace a Steve piense que gana tiempo para que David Colton pueda liberar a los rehenes en la embajada de EE.UU, pero los asesinaron, al parecer hay solo dos vivos. Toda esta situación le trae recuerdos a Colton de Irak, donde un ataque con coche bomba lo quebró psicológicamente, realizando un crimen a sus compañeros.
Doom engañó a Steve, toda esa conversación es para distraerlo y atacar con una bomba, para poder ejecutar en público a Marius Wolf.
Este cómic ofrece una visión brillante y realista de Capitán América, refresca su mitología al ubicarlo en un escenario actual.

Es un arte lleno de detalles que son elevados a otro nivel de calidad con diferentes texturas, donde ofrece diseños tan avasallantes como alucinantes de Capitán América y su nuevo universo de personajes.

Plot
Steve Rogers and Marius Wolf (leader of the resistance against Doom in Latveria) are cornered by Doom and his Doombots. Doctor Doom explains to Cap his twisted and tyrannical political worldview, which he admires as a symbol and the potential of his nation.
This entire conversation with Doom makes Steve think he's buying time for David Colton to free the hostages at the US embassy, but they were killed; apparently, only two remain. This whole situation brings back memories for Colton of Iraq, where a car bomb attack broke him psychologically, leading him to commit a crime against his colleagues.
Doom tricked Steve; this entire conversation was intended to distract him from the bomb attack so he could publicly execute Marius Wolf.
This comic offers a brilliant and realistic take on Captain America, refreshing his mythology by placing him in a modern-day setting.
Art
It's art filled with details that are elevated to another level of quality with different textures, offering designs as overwhelming as they are mind-blowing of Captain America and his new universe of characters.
