RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "GODZILLA DESTROYS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE #3 DE 5" CON SPOILERS

 

¿De qué viene?

¡BIENVENIDOS AL MUNDO DE GODZILLA, X-MEN! ¡ESPERAMOS QUE SOBREVIVAN A ESTA EXPERIENCIA...! Con la llegada de la ola de destrucción de Godzilla a las costas de Madripoor, los X-Men se unen a la lucha por la supervivencia del planeta. Mientras intentan detener al Rey de los Monstruos, el Profesor Xavier libra su propia batalla mental, intentando comprender y calmar la mente del kaiju. Pero cuando descubre los oscuros recovecos de la mente de Godzilla en su furia destructiva, ¡todo cambia! Además, Hulk entra en escena con una aparición tan impactante que se siente el eco de su poder en todo el mundo, incluso en Wakanda, donde Pantera Negra no está dispuesto a ser la siguiente víctima del kaiju. Si Godzilla insiste en la lucha, Wakanda demostrará que no es el único capaz de causar la destrucción.

Trama

Godzilla lleva décadas golpeando a Dormammu en el Plano Astral, por lo que este demonio se obstina y lo devuelve a la Tierra, justamente el momento después en que Doctor Strange lo envió. Llega a la isla de Madripoor y Logan avisa a los X-men.

Cyclops, Professor X, Coloso, Rogue, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Magneto y Wolverine atacan con fuerza letal a Godzilla, pero este ser se cura más rápido que el propio Wolverine. Magneto usa a Wolverine como un taladro humano para perforar a Godzilla.

Hay una secuencia con unos naipes gigantes/Gambit/X-men magnifica.

Black Panther llega al sitio y usando las partículas Pym ataca a Godzilla con su versión gigante. Godzilla al verse superado en número se escapa al mar.

En Wakanda Shuri le entrega a Bruce Banner un maletín con partículas Pym, para hacerse gigante del tamaño de un Kaiju y luchas contra Godzilla usando dos armas gigantes, un martillo y una hacha de Vibranium gigantes.

Trepidante capítulo con un ritmo narrativo hipnotizante.

Arte

Con un arte sumamente detallado que resalta todas esas poses heroicas de pelea así como la escala de Godzilla, balanceando el optimismo de los superhéroes con el terror de Godzilla.

What does it come from?

WELCOME TO GODZILLA'S WORLD, X-MEN! HOPE YOU SURVIVE THE EXPERIENCE... As Godzilla's wave of desolation arrives on the shores of Madripoor, the X-Men join the fight for the planet's survival! As they struggle to hold the line against the King of the Monsters, Professor Xavier fights his own mental battle as he attempts to penetrate and pacify the mind of the Kaiju - but when he discovers what lurks in the mind of the rampaging Godzilla, all bets are off! PLUS, the Hulk enters the fray with an earth-shattering entrance that sends ripples felt across the world, including in Wakanda, where Black Panther is done waiting to be the next victim of the kaiju's frenzy. If Godzilla insists on fighting, Wakanda will prove the kaiju isn't the only one capable of bringing the destruction!

Plot

The comic begins in the year 2099, where an elderly Johnny Storm, with the help of Forge, Riri, and Tony Stark, launches an attack on Godzilla, who has been destroying the world for decades. The attack eliminates Johnny, who has spent decades trying to avenge his family, who disappeared when Reed's device to transport them to the Negative Zone failed.

In the present, Black Panther asks Shuri to discover the new form of Vibranium with unstable molecules; it could be the weapon they need to defeat Godzilla.

In Manhattan, Spider-Man and Daredevil are the only ones left. They have been distracting Godzilla, but they receive help from the villains, and the Venom symbiote almost merges with Godzilla.

Doctor Strange manages to transport Godzilla to the Astral Plane, but this kaiju is mysteriously immune to magic and Pym particles, meaning he is more powerful. For now, the heroes and villains are organizing to make a plan for when Godzilla escapes from the Astral Plane.

H.E.R.B.I.E. is in the Negative Zone trying to save Reed, Sue, and Ben.

A magnificent second chapter in this saga that presents Godzilla as an unstoppable force of nature taking the Marvel Universe by storm. It's packed with action and a fast-paced, addictive narrative where no one is safe. This crossover is a must-read for any fan of Godzilla, Marvel, and comics in general.

Art

With highly detailed art that highlights all those heroic fight poses as well as Godzilla's scale, it balances the optimism of superheroes with the terror of Godzilla. Three artists deliver magnificent fight sequences.

Summary

Doctor Strange enters the battle to help stop Godzilla for a limited time, while they begin to analyze why this kaiju has returned stronger and more unstoppable.
