¿De Qué viene?
Una noche tormentosa en las montañas obliga a un viajero solitario a refugiarse en la casa de una bruja, dónde está teje una historia sobre el misterioso y despiadado Hombre sin Piel, que busca piel nueva a cualquier precio, y la banda de brujos que cometieron la insensatez de intentar engañarlo.
“SKINLESS MAN” marca la primera historia de Stenbeck en el universo de terror y fantasía de Tierras Desconocidas, co-creado con Mike Mignola de Hellboy.

Trama
En una noche lluviosa y tétrica, la bruja Granny recibe a un misterioso viajero acompañado de un lobo y un conejo que hablan y para responder su pregunta sobre el paradero de alguien, narra la historia del SKINLESS MAN.
Este misterioso líder de piratas carroñeros se llama EL KUBRA, pero como no tiene piel, lo apodaron EL HOMBRE SIN PIEL. Luego de una batalla entre dos reinos dejó muchas embarcaciones destruidas, que El Kubra y sus hombres lograron saquear y recuperar muchas riquezas, pero lo más enigmático es que consiguen a un bebé con ojos de oro.
Este bebé posee la piel más perfecta y esponjosa que El Kubra haya visto en su vida, por lo que se obsesiona con la idea de colocarse la piel de ese bebé y volver a ser normal.
Pero esta hazaña requiere a un grupo de brujos, seis en total, quienes de manera irresponsable le ofrecen la posibilidad de lograr esto, pero le piden que debe conseguir un gigante para crear un encantamiento/ritual de aumento de volumen de la piel del bebé. El Kubra va a buscar al gigante en un reino lejano.
En ausencia del El Kubra, los brujos invocan poderes prohibidos y desconocidos que desatan algo parecido a varias plagas donde todos este ejército enloquecen y se atacan entre ellos.
Al regresar El Kudra con el gigante, ambos se enfrentan a un monstruo que lleva comiendo lo que queda de sobrevivientes en el pueblo. El bebé ha desaparecido así como los Brujos y así comienza la búsqueda de El Hombre sin Piel, que aún no revelan por qué está así.
Impactante y escalofriante inicio de esta historia que se adentra en este nuevo universo donde los relatos te atrapan con estos personajes tan geniales. Posee la narrativa del terror folklórico que la hace tan familiar.

Posee muchas texturas, consolidadas con detalles, donde recrea con éxito este mundo nuevo, donde la magia es un poder incontrolable y escalofriante.

What does it come from?
A stormy night in the mountains forces a lone traveler to take shelter in a witch’s house, where the witch spins a yarn of the mysterious and merciless Skinless Man who is in pursuit of new skin at any cost, and the gang of warlocks who were foolish enough to try to deceive him.
“The Skinless Man” marks Stenbeck’s first story in the horror-fantasy Lands Unknown universe, co-created with Hellboy’s Mike Mignola.

Plot
On a gloomy, rainy night, Granny the witch receives a mysterious traveler accompanied by a talking wolf and rabbit. To answer his question about someone's whereabouts, she tells the story of the Skinless Man.
This mysterious leader of scavenging pirates is called El Kubra, but because he has no skin, he is nicknamed The Skinless Man. After a battle between two kingdoms left many ships destroyed, El Kubra and his men managed to plunder them and recover great riches. But the most enigmatic thing they find is a baby with golden eyes.
This baby has the most perfect and fluffy skin El Kubra has ever seen, so he becomes obsessed with the idea of wearing the baby's skin and becoming normal again.
But this feat requires a group of sorcerers, six in total, who irresponsibly offer him the possibility of achieving this, but they ask him to obtain a giant to create an enchantment/ritual to increase the volume of the baby's skin. The Kubra goes to find the giant in a distant kingdom.
In the Kubra's absence, the sorcerers invoke forbidden and unknown powers that unleash something akin to several plagues, driving the entire army mad and causing them to attack each other.
Upon the Kubra's return with the giant, they both confront a monster that has been devouring the remaining survivors in the village. The baby has disappeared, as have the sorcerers, and thus begins the search for the Skinless Man, whose condition remains a mystery.
A shocking and chilling beginning to this story, which delves into this new universe where the tales captivate you with these fantastic characters. It possesses the narrative of folkloric horror that makes it so familiar.

It boasts rich textures, meticulously crafted with intricate details, successfully recreating this new world where magic is an uncontrollable and chilling power.
