Trama
Este cómic continúa luego de los acontecimientos de PUNISHER: RED BAND, donde Frank recupera su voluntad luego de quitarse el chip de control mental que controlaba Kingpin, lo cual desató una guerra que dejó a Tombstone tras rejas y a Kingpin supuestamente muerto.
Frank no está bien físicamente, todavía está herido en la cabeza donde le removieron el chip, su cuerpo fue llevado a sus límites físicos, sin embargo sigue como una máquina de castigar, sigue a la radio de la policía para eliminar a todos los criminales que pueda. Micro sigue encerrado por Punisher, pero ambos hacen las paces, Frank necesita que vean lo que le ocurre.
Jigsaw regresó y está determinado a ser el nuevo Kingpin, aprovechando que Fiske está desaparecido y obliga a Tombstone a que le ceda todos sus bienes, pero para lograr su nuevo objetivo de vida debe eliminar a Punisher.
Hay una reportera llamada Madeline, ella es corresponsal de WNEX y sabe que Punisher regresó y está desatado, por lo que va a averiguar lo que ocurre.
Excelente comienzo de una nueva saga donde Punisher está enfocado más que nunca en limpiar el crimen callejero y el regreso de Jigsaw con sus ambiciones va acabar con todo.
Arte
Detallado y orgánico, que ofrece un tono lúgubre del mundo criminal y su perversión, que es una espejo del psique afectado de Frank.
Resumen
Punisher regresa pero su salud está afectada y el surgimiento de un nuevo Kingpin en la manos de Jigsaw promete una nueva guerra criminal brutal

Plot
This comic picks up after the events of PUNISHER: RED BAND, where Frank regains his free will after removing the mind-control chip that had been controlling Kingpin. This sparked a war that landed Tombstone in jail and Kingpin was presumed dead.
Frank is physically unwell, still suffering from the head injury where the chip was removed. His body has been pushed to its physical limits, yet he remains a killing machine, following police radios to eliminate as many criminals as he can. Micro is still imprisoned by Punisher, but the two men make peace. Frank needs them to see what he's going through.
Jigsaw has returned and is determined to become the new Kingpin. Taking advantage of Fiske's disappearance, he forces Tombstone to hand over all his assets, but to achieve his new life goal, he must eliminate Punisher.
A reporter named Madeline, a correspondent for WNEX, knows that Punisher has returned and is on the loose, so she sets out to find out what's going on.
An excellent start to a new saga where Punisher is more focused than ever on cleaning up street crime, and Jigsaw's return with his ambitions will destroy everything.
Art
Detailed and organic, it offers a bleak tone of the criminal world and its perversion, a mirror of Frank's troubled psyche.
Summary
Punisher returns, but his health is failing, and the emergence of a new Kingpin in Jigsaw's hands promises a new, brutal crime war.
