REVIEW IN ENGLISH

This is the third volume of this series that premieres creative team for each arc, and is set in a different country, tso it has Rafael Scavone and Rafael Albuquerque as a writer and illustrator and the country is Italy, specifically in Rome.

Mindy has a mysterious encounter with a thief in the airport of Boston, a rival that is at the height of Hit-Girl. This mysterious Italian thief has in her possession a purse with a mysterious treasure, which Mindy sees and becomes interested and decides to investigate, this makes it reach Italy by accident.

This adventure differs a lot from the previous ones, because here Hit-Girl was not prepared, she before assuming a mission, always investigates everything, from locations, safe houses and above all, studies her enemies.

Mindy has the treasure she had stolen from that thief, called La Gatta, it is the skull with precious stones of a saint of which Donna Giustina is devoted, the head of a criminal group formed by nuns with machine guns.

La Gatta explains to Mindy that she stole that skull because Dona Giustina has imprisoned her father to force her to do what she wants, Hit-Girl is convinced and decides to help her destroy Doña Giustina's criminal empire.

All the issues of this volume manage to catch the reader by his so intense and dynamic plot of Rafael Scavone and by the mesmerizing art of Rafael Albuquerque, a wonderful creative team.

And of course you will find all the extreme violence, action and jokes typical of this series.

Don´t miss the italian easter eggs, like Mario and Luigi and much more.

Summary:

For this third volume we find Hit-Girl somewhat disorganized and improvising each of her movements, however she accomplishes all her tasks, in the end there is a magnificent plot twist. This volume compiles # 9 to # 12.

REVIEW IN ENGLISH:

This comic closes this a spectacular third Volume dedicated to Rome by Rafael Scavone y Rafael Albuquerque. In February the reins of this series fall into the hands of Kevin Smith and Pernille Oerum with the arc HIT-GIRL SEASON TWO #1: THE SILENT ERA.

Where it comes from?

In Hit-Girl #11 Paola, La Gatta, convinces Mindy to help her free her father from Giustina, so they both prepare for an assault on the barracks of this crazy religious fanatic / mobster.

What happens in this issue?

This rescue plan of Mindy and Paola is executed without mercy where the sequences of action and violence are hypnotizing, the art of Albuquerque and Scavone's plot overflow with talent and creativity.

The fight between Giustina and Mindy is more epic than you can expect, Giustina turns out to be more lethal than it seems and Mindy becomes obsessed with a sword of her size, can you imagine Hit-Girl with such a weapon?

Paola really is not very helpful because she doesn't know how to handle a weapon and does not want to hurt anyone, but then why does she get involved with the mafia?

Plot Twists

The resolution of the story is unexpected, when everything seems to end well, it turns out that it is nothing what is seems, Mindy comes to the conclusion that she can not rmake another mission without any previous organization, in Rome she was out of her area of comfort.

Summary
This issue closes this story arc in Rome, where Rafael Scavone and Rafael Albuquerque present us with a well-structured and illustrated history. Not only this issue is magnificent, all this volume is totally recommended.
