¿Qué sucede?

El cómic comienza tiene dos historias cortas de investigaciones de lo paranormal de Hellboy.

Her Fatal Hour:  es el año 1979, una mujer del pasado le cobra a Hellboy un favor que le hizo su abuela al curarlo,una gitana, ella lo invoca usando una marioneta, esto teletransporta a Hellboy. Esta prmera hisotira tiene muchos elementos interesantes del floklore Rumano, que involucra maldiciones y demonios, que vienen a cobrar una deuda. 

The Sending: trata sobre un fantasma que destruye una biblioteca de un millnario en 1991, la sobrina llama al B.P.R.D para que investiguen lo que sucede, para asistir a Hellboy esta el señor Middleton, figura clave para descubrir este misterio. Aunque es euna historia corta posee elementos claves que de seguro luego serán expandidos en otra historia.

Arte y Trama

Tiernen Trevallion le otorga a Hellboy esa textura áspera y el tono lúgubre que ambas geniales historias de Mignola necesitan.

Resumen

Dos historias cortas que expanden el fértil universo de monstruos y actividades paranormales de Hellboy, otra obra de lectura obligada sean o no fanáticos de este personaje.

What's going on?

The comic begins has two short stories of Hellboy paranormal investigations.

Her Fatal Hour: it is the year 1979, a woman from the past charges Hellboy a favor that his grandmother did by curing him, a gypsy, she invokes him using a puppet, this teleports Hellboy. This first story has many interesting elements from Rumanian floklore, involving curses and demons, who come to collect a debt.

The Sending: it is about a ghost that destroys a library of a millionaire in 1991, the niece calls the B.P.R.D to investigate what happens, to assist Hellboy is Mr. Middleton, a key figure to uncover this mystery. Although it is a short story, it has key elements that will surely later be expanded in another story.

Art and Plot

Tiernen Trevallion gives Hellboy that rough texture and gloomy tone that both great Mignola stories needs.

Summary

Two short stories that expand Hellboy's fertile universe of monsters and paranormal activities, another must-read work whether  you are or not fans of this character.

¿De Qué viene?

El equipo detrás del Hellboy: Krampusnacht One-shot , ganador del premio Eisner, teje un nuevo hilo fantasmal, Hellboy acude en ayuda de una joven cuya búsqueda de fantasmas sale mal, y una visita a una escuela de medicina abandonada revela pistas siniestras de un espantoso asesinato de hace mucho tiempo. Cadáveres robados, espíritus vengativos y más abundan en este cómic de entrega única con paginas extras.

El creador de Hellboy, Mike Mignola, se reúne con el artista favorito de los fanáticos Adam Hughes para un festival de gritos que seguramente entusiasmará a los fanáticos nuevos y viejos por igual.

¿Qué sucede?

El cómic comienza con Hellboy y la agente del B.P.R.D (Oficina de Investigación y Defensa de lo Paranormal) Pauline Raskin investigando un asesinato en Savahhah,Georgia en 1992.

El detalle es que la "asesina" la conoce Hellboy, se llama Jane Howell, quien le gusta visitar mansiones embrujadas, afición que comparte con su nuevo novio Tommy. La mansión de Wakeman narra que este señor tenia 7 esposas en diferentes partes del pueblo, un día las llevo a esta casa, las encierro e incendio la casa para luego ahorcarse con una sonrisa. Wakeman le hizo una trampa a Jane y ella disparó a Tommy por error.

Hellboy y Pauline reciben la ayuda de un residente que sabe algo de Wakeman, y se remonta a su madre, una estudiante de medicina en 1922, que con otras 6 compañeras recibieron el cuerpo de Wakeman para sus estudios médicos...pero ellas lo llevaron al sótano y empezaron a realizar una serie de rituales perversos en forma de broma que al final las marcó por siempre.

Este par de detectives de lo paranormal se dirigen a la vieja escuela de medicina y la batalla que libran este lugar es épica. 

Arte y Trama

Adam Hughes sorprende con cada panel, crea un rango de ambientes diferentes, desde un día normal con el sol hasta la oscuridad de un sótano abandonado. La historia de Mike Mignola es escalofriante y adictiva, mezcla ese terror folk con leyendas urbanas.

Resumen

El B.P.R.D se enfrenta a un caso donde la clave la tiene un ritual perverso del que nadie sabia.

What's going on?

The comic begins with Hellboy and B.P.R.D (Office of Paranormal Investigation and Defense) agent Pauline Raskin investigating a murder in Savahhah, Georgia in 1992.

The detail is that Hellboy know the "killer", her name is Jane Howell, who likes to visit haunted mansions, a hobby she shares with her new boyfriend Tommy. The Wakeman mansion narrates that this man had 7 wives in different parts of the town, one day he took them to this house, locked them up and burned the house before hanging himself with a smile. Wakeman cheated on Jane and she shot Tommy by mistake.

Hellboy and Pauline are helped by a resident who knows something about Wakeman, dating back to their mother, a medical student in 1922, who with 6 other companions received Wakeman's body for their medical studies ... but they took it away They went to the basement and began to perform a series of wicked rituals in the form of a joke that in the end I mark them forever.

These pair of paranormal detectives are heading to the old medical school and the battle they wage here is epic.

Art and Plot

Adam Hughes surprises with each panel, creating a range of different environments, from a normal day with the sun to the darkness of an abandoned basement. Mike Mignola's story is chilling and addictive, mixing that folk horror with urban legends.

Summary

The B.P.R.D faces a case where the key is held by a perverse ritual that no one knew about.

PORTADA DE "DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE #1" ARTE DE ADAM HUGHES

Carrie es apoyada por Batman, su mentor

A finales de noviembre DC Comics lanzará el cierre de esta trilogía de novelas gráficas El Caballero Oscuro, que han sido referencia para muchos artistas, escritores, editoriales y hasta para filmes como Batman Vs Superman el Origen de la Justicia, que estará fuertemente influenciado por The Dark Knight Returns, la primera parte de la trilogía.

Esta portada es del gran artista Adam Hughes, donde musa una pose de ataque de Carrie Kelley, la aprendiz femenina de Robin, pero apoyada con calidad de mentor por parte de Batman, impresionante.

Cada cómic tendrá 32 páginas hechas por el equipo creativo de Frank Miller y Brian Azzarello como escritores y Andy Kubert con Klaus Janson como artistas, aparte tendrá una historias cortas de 16 paginas hechas por los mismo escritores pero con otros ilustradores que no han anunciado aún, el primer número de esta mini-serie saldrá a la venta el 25 de noviembre.

El ángulo tomado por Huges es impresionante

En el 2014 Marvel Comics estreno una nueva serie de Thor donde el que usa el martillo Mjolnir no es el hijo de Odin, si no una mujer, esto ocurrió porque Odinson dejó de ser digno cuando se reveló uno de sus pecados del pasado en el evento Original Sin.

La mujer que sostiene a Mjolnir es Jane Foster, el amor de la vida de Thor Odinson, esta serie sucede 8 meses después de Secret Wars

Esta portada de esta nueva serie que va de la mano con la nueva línea editorial All New All Different Marvel y el gran artista Adam Hughes hizo esta impactante portada.

REVELADAS LAS PORTADAS ALTERNAS DE "KICK-ASS 3 # 1" 

En la tarde de ayer el escritor Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2, Hit-Girl) publicó una serie de portadas alternas que formarán parte de la primera edición de esta nueva miniserie, que cierra la trilogía de Kick-Ass.

Kick-Ass 3, será ilustrada por John Romita Jr. y forma parte del género de cómics "creator owned" (los creadores son los dueños de los derechos intelectuales).
