¿De qué viene?
En la oscuridad acecha los Kaiju, monstruos aterradores y crueles, nuestra salvación es la Patrulla de la Ciencia Unida.
Pero, ¿quiénes son estos enigmáticos defensores y cómo realizan sus milagros? Shin Hayata y Kiki Fuji han pasado su vida tratando de averiguarlo, ¡y su búsqueda está a punto de conducirlos hacia un oscuro secreto de décadas de antigüedad y ponerlos en el camino de un misterioso guerrero de más allá de las estrellas!
En The Rise of Ultraman #2 Shin se enfrenta al extraterrestre y ambos están en animación suspendida, el extraterrestre empieza a hurgar en la memoria de Shin para entenderlo y así poder hacer una fusión típica de su raza. Kiki y Muramatsu investigan el mismo fenómeno de fusión que ocurrió en 1966, y un ex-científico que esta escondido de la Patrulla Científica Unida USP. les explica cuando son atacados por la misma USP, Kiki escapa pero Muramatsu es arrestado.
¿Qué sucede?
Shin despierta en una habitación en la sede de la Patrulla Científica Unida USP, lo entrevista el director Ureo Ichinotami, Shin se levanta de un salto y Ultraman le avisa que no debe confiar en ese señor.
Shin pregunta por Kiki, le responden que es fugitiva y lo ponen a hablar con Muramatsu, quien le explica lo que sucede, Shin negocia con Ureo y van hasta la zona donde esta Kiki con el científico que dice ser responsable de la tecnología que detuvo la llegada del primer Ultraman, en ese lugar surgen unos Kaiju y Kiki se defiende.
Al llegar al lugar Shin Hayata llega a la casa y Ultraman le dice que hay Kaijus, que su fusión no fue completa y que ahora para poder usar los poderes debe activar el dispositivo Beta Capsule y por solo 3 minutos podrá ser Ultraman, Shin se arriesga y los usa. Este momento es épico, es la transformación que esperamos y Ultraman vence a los Kaiju fácilmente.
El cómic cierra con Kiki en peligro por el científico que ahora demuestra ser un villano.
Arte y Trama
Kyle Higgins Mat Groom y Francesco Manna nos presentan la mejor entrega de esta saga hasta los momentos, acción, drama, traiciones, conspiración y una Beta Capsule activada.
Resumen
Shin Hayata esta por descubrir una conspiración que Patrulla Científica Unida USP lleva gestando desde 1966, pero primero debe salvar a Kiki.

Where does it come from?

In The Rise of Ultraman # 2 Shin confronts the alien and both are in suspended animation, the alien begins to delve into Shin's memory to understand him and thus be able to make a typical fusion of his race. Kiki and Muramatsu investigate the same fusion phenomenon that occurred in 1966, and an ex-scientist who is in hiding from the United Science Patrol USP explains to them when they are attacked by the same USP, Kiki escapes but Muramatsu is arrested.
What's going on?
Shin wakes up in a room at the headquarters of the United Scientific Patrol USP, he is interviewed by director Ureo Ichinotami, Shin jumps up and Ultraman warns him not to trust that man.
Shin asks about Kiki, they answer that she is a fugitive and they put him to talk to Muramatsu, who explains what is happening, Shin negotiates with Ureo and they go to the area where Kiki is with the scientist who claims to be responsible for the technology that stopped the arrival of the first Ultraman, in that place some Kaiju appear and Kiki defends herself.
Upon reaching the place, Shin Hayata arrives at the house and Ultraman tells him that there are Kaijus, that their fusion was not complete and that now in order to use the powers he must activate the Beta Capsule device and for only 3 minutes he can be Ultraman, Shin takes a risk and uses them. This moment is epic, it is the transformation we expect and Ultraman defeats the Kaiju easily.
The comic closes with Kiki in danger from the scientist who is now proven to be a villain.
Art and Plot
Kyle Higgins Mat Groom and Francesco Manna present us the best issue of this saga so far, action, drama, betrayals, conspiracy and an activated Beta Capsule.
Summary
Shin Hayata is about to uncover a conspiracy USP has been brewing since 1966, but he must first save Kiki.
