¿De Que viene?
Geralt se ha empobrecido desde que las amenazas de monstruos desaparecieron. Los tiempos siempre han sido difíciles para Witchers, pero sin un trabajo continuo, su situación ha empeorado. Mientras Geralt explora nuevas posibilidades, recibe una solicitud del alcalde de Towitz, una pequeña ciudad donde los niños están siendo secuestrados por Foglets.
¿Qué sucede?
Geralt vaga de pueblo a pueblo en busca de empleo, ya que los monstruos desaparecieron y los Witchers no son necesarios, actualmente Geralt está dispuesto a realizar cualquier trabajo y en Poviss es contratado para ser un pescador que ayuda a otro que quedó lisiado luego de un ataque de sirenas.
Witcher le gusta este oficio, ya está convencido que lo volverá a cazar monstruos.
De repente llega un mensaje de la localidad de Badreine los Foglets están atacando niños, algo que no es común para estos seres.
Witcher se entrevista con la alcaldesa, que parece ocultar algo, sin embargo, Geralt necesita trabajar y empieza a cazar a estos monstruos y de nuevo siente que sus instintos se despiertan, vuelve a sentirse bien y que pertenece a este oficio.
Lamentablemente una tragedia le impide volver a ser pescador y otro ataque de Foglets hace que sea llamado de nuevo.
Arte y Trama
Este cómic muestra un lado vulnerable de Geralt, un ser formidable que parece no temerle a nada. El arte captura ese tono de misterio y terror. Hay una magnífica secuencia de acción y pelea de espadas.
Resumen
Esta serie muestra a Geralt abatido, pasa de ser un temido cazador de monstruos a un vago que nadie quiere dar abrigo o trabajo, pero todo está por cambiar. Es sin duda un buen inicio para esta miniserie.

What does it come from?
Geralt has become impoverished and dejected since monster threats have seemingly vanished. Times have always been hard for Witchers--but without continual work, his situation has worsened. As Geralt explores new possibilities for his life path, he receives a request from the Mayor of Towitz, a small town where children are being kidnapped by Foglets . . . but something feels off about this new threat.
What's going on?
Geralt wanders from town to town in search of employment, since the monsters disappeared and the Witchers are not needed, currently Geralt is willing to do any job and in Poviss he is hired to be a fisherman who helps another who was crippled after a mermaid attack.
Witcher likes this job, he is already convinced that he will hunt monsters again.
Suddenly a message arrives from the town of Badreine that the Foglets are attacking children, something that is not common for these beings.
Witcher meets with the mayor, who seems to be hiding something, however, Geralt needs to work and begins to hunt these monsters and again feels that his instincts are awakened, he feels good again and that he belongs to this profession.
Unfortunately a tragedy prevents him from being a fisherman again and another attack by Foglets causes him to be called again.
Art and Plot
This comic shows a vulnerable side of Geralt, a formidable being who seems to fear nothing. The art captures that tone of mystery and terror. There is a magnificent action and sword fight sequence.
Summary
This series shows Geralt dejected, he goes from being a feared monster hunter to a bum who no one wants to give shelter or work, but everything is about to change. It's an interesting place to start for this miniseries.
