sin limitaciones creativas donde los derechos intelectuales son de sus
creadores.
¿De qué viene?
Durante dos generaciones, la ciudad rural de Grendel, Kentucky, ha honrado su trato con el monstruo que vive en su mina de carbón abandonada: un sacrificio humano cada temporada a cambio de la prosperidad agraria, como nunca antes había visto esta región rocosa (incluyendo su mayor cultivo comercial: la hierba más húmeda de la tierra). Cuando un anciano de la ciudad rompe este pacto, la única esperanza de Grendel es que su hija pródiga regrese a casa para enfrentarse a la criatura de sus pesadillas y venga acompañada de su pandilla de motociclistas mujeres.
En Grendel, Kentucky #2 Denny y Marnei averiguan qué le pasó a su padre y descubren que hay un demonio que masacrar a varios residentes, este ser vive en la mina y Marnei lo vio de niña.
El cómic cierra con el abuelo a revelando que este ser existe. Penúltimo capitulo.
¿Qué sucede?
El abuelo revela que en 1917 el quedó sepultado con sus hermanos en la mina de carbón del pueblo y que la bestia asesinó a todos pero le perdonó la vida y lo dejó ir, la razón es para que le enviara cuerpos humanos como sacrificio, pordioseros, villanos, drogadictos fueron el menú. Con cada sacrificio los sembradíos de Grendel crecían con inmensa prosperidad.
Luego Clyde siguió la tradición de su padre y en algún momento no quería ni que Denny o Marnei hicieran lo mismo y se armó para matarlo y no sobrevivió.
Denny y Marnei se organizan para atrapar a esta bestia y logran hacerla correr hacia la cueva pero la confianza es mala consejera.
La última página los hará saltar de dónde estén sentados leyendo.
Arte y trama
Esta entrega nos muestra las habilidades y poder sobrehumano de este demonio, la historia se siente muy real y verídica. Si los capítulos anteriores no les había dado escalofríos entonces está entrega lo hará.
Resumen
El abuelo de Denny y Marnei revela la existencia de este demonio y como se mantuvo oculto a medida que sacrificaban humanos. Este penúltimo capítulo explica con detalle todo.

What's it coming from?
For two generations, the rural hill town of Grendel, Kentucky has honored its Faustian bargain with the monster living in its abandoned coal mine: a human sacrifice every season in return for agrarian prosperity the likes of which this rocky region had never before seen (including its greatest cash crop: the dankest weed in the land). When one town elder breaks this pact, Grendel’s only hope is that its prodigal daughter will return home to face down the creature of her nightmares—and bring her all-female biker gang with her.
In Grendel, Kentucky # 2 Denny and Marnei find out what happened to their father and discover that there is a demon that massacres several residents, this being lives in the mine and Marnei saw him as a child.
The comic closes with the grandfather revealing that this being exists. Penultimate chapter.
The grandfather reveals that in 1917 he was buried with his brothers in the town's coal mine and that the beast kill all but spared his life and let him go, the reason is to send him human bodies as a sacrifice, beggars, villains, drug addicts were the menu. With each sacrifice Grendel's fields grew in immense prosperity.
Then Clyde followed the tradition of his father and at some point he did not want Denny or Marnei to do the same and he armed himself to kill him and did not survive.
Denny and Marnei organize to catch this beast and manage to make it run towards the cave but trust is a bad adviser.
The last page will make you jump from where you are sitting reading.
Art and plot.
This installment shows us the abilities and superhuman power of this demon, the story feels very real and true. If the previous chapters hadn't given you the creeps then this issue will.
Summary
Denny and Marnei's grandfather reveals the existence of this demon and how it remained hidden as they sacrificed humans. This penultimate chapter explains everything in detail.
