Horse Comics e IDW nos presenta este
crossover dónde por un lado traen nuevas historias de los personajes de Stranger
Things, la serie de culto de NETFLIX que mezcla misterio con
ciencia ficción y por otro está el famoso juego de mesa y rol Calabozos
y Dragones.

¿De Que viene?
Sigue al equipo de Hawkins, Indiana, mientras descubren juntos los monstruos legendarios y las aventuras épicas del juego de rol de mesa Dungeons & Dragons. Mucho antes de que el temido Demogorgon llevara a uno de ellos al Upside Down, mira a Mike, Lucas y Will vincularse con Dustin por primera vez en el juego que definiría su infancia.
Esto ocurre meses antes de la temporada 1.
¿Qué sucede?
Will, Mike y Lucas son inseparables amigos que luchan diariamente contra el bullying al que son sometidos en la escuela.
Durante uno de esos escapes de los bullies llegan a una librería dónde su dueño tiene una inmensa representación en miniatura de la Batalla de Waterloo, Lucas, Mike y Will están encantados con su trabajo y el dueño les muestra el nuevo juego de Mesa Calabozos y Dragones, dónde la creatividad es la clave.
El dueño les propuso que si lograban traerles suficientes libros los usarían como forma de pago y les daría el juego.
Cada uno de ellos fueron a sus casas respectivas y lograron acumular tantos como una carretilla y cuando los iban a llevar los bullies hicieron que la carretilla cayera en el lodo, aún así lograron que el dueño de la librería le entregara el juego.
Calabozos y Dragones permitió crear un nuevo lenguaje entre los tres, esto llamó la atención de Dustin y así formó parte de esta camaradería.
El cómic cierra en 1981 cuando ya lograron terminar el nivel 3. Al final hay unos formularios de Calabozos y Dragones.
Arte y Trama
Tanto la historia como el arte atrapa la camaradería y tono de la serie Stranger Things, así como lo emocionante que es participar en este juego de mesa.

Dark Horse Comics invites us to enjoy new stories from the characters of Stranger Things, the cult NETFLIX series that mixes mystery with science fiction. This comic has a unique story with no connection to another comic.
What does it come from?
Follow the crew from Hawkins, Indiana, as they discover the legendary monsters and epic adventures of the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing game together. Long before the dreaded Demogorgon took one of them to the Upside Down, watch Mike, Lucas, and Will bond with Dustin for the first time over the game that would define their childhood. See the party come together as a team through communal stories and perilous quests to learn important lessons about friendship and find the courage to stand up to the bullies that challenge their everyday.
This happens before season 1.
What's going on?
Will, Mike and Lucas are inseparable friends who fight daily against the bullying they are subjected to at school.
During one of those escapes the bullies arrive at a bookstore where its owner has a huge miniature representation of the Battle of Waterloo, Lucas, Mike and Will are delighted with their work and the owner shows them the new Dungeons and Dragons Table game , where creativity is the key.
The owner suggested that if they managed to bring them enough books they would use them as a form of payment and he would give them the game.
Each of them went to their respective houses and managed to accumulate as many as a wheelbarrow and when the bullies were going to take them they made the wheelbarrow fall into the mud, still they managed to get the owner of the bookstore to deliver the game to them.
Dungeons and Dragons allowed to create a new language between the three, this caught Dustin's attention and thus he was part of this camaraderie.
The comic closes in 1981 when they already managed to finish level 3. At the end there are some forms of Dungeons and Dragons.
Art and Plot
Both the story and the art capture the camaraderie and tone of the Stranger Things series, as well as how exciting it is to participate in this board game.
Summary
This first installment tells how Dungeons and Dragons is an important part of this inseparable quartet.
