¿De qué viene?

Lo único más difícil para Jerri Bartman que aprender a pasar el día sin beber es aprender a derrotar a un vampiro. TRAMA 

Jerri necesita saber como matar a un vampiro, porque uno de los más poderosos, Hubert Shagad, la persigue. Freis le explica que los vampiros no pueden morir, lo único que pueden hacer es dominar o subyugar, para eso necesita sacarle el corazón.

De manera simultánea, el amigo Hombre Lobo de Jerri,  Steven, está por convertirse, momento que aprovecha Jerri para detener a Hubert.

Hay una revelación sobre un universo de cazadores de monstruos que Jerri desconoce, que le rompe el corazón, justo cuando estaba superando su adicción.

Magnífico cierre de una saga interesante, cautivante e intensa.

Los detalles y colores de esta entrega elevan el tono vintage clásico a otro nivel de excelencia. Posee una textura que se siente como coloreada con tizas, muy interesante y original.

Resumen

Jerri se enfrenta al vampiro con una gran ayuda, ya se está convenciendo que es una buena cazadora de monstruos.

PLOT

Jerri needs to know how to kill a vampire, because one of the most powerful, Hubert Shagad, is after her. Freis explains to her that vampires cannot die, the only thing they can do is dominate or subjugate, for that she needs to take out her heart.

Simultaneously, Jerri's Werewolf friend Steven is about to turn, which Jerri takes advantage of to stop Hubert.

There is a revelation about a universe of monster hunters that Jerri is unaware of, which she breaks her heart for, just as she was getting over her addiction.

Magnificent closing chapter of an interesting, captivating and intense saga.

ART

The details and colors of this installment elevate the classic vintage tone to another level of excellence. It has a texture that feels like colored with chalk, very interesting and original.

Summary

Jerri confronts the vampire with great help, already convincing herself that she is a good monster hunter.

¿De qué viene?

Si se supone que la sobriedad trae algún tipo de "serenidad", ¡Jerri Bartman ciertamente no la siente todavía! Desesperada por ayudar a su nuevo amigo hombre lobo, Jerri descubre una historia sorprendente sobre Vincent Frights y su tiempo en las trincheras de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Mientras tanto, el reloj lunar avanza a medida que un vampiro inquisitivo se vuelve cada vez más curioso sobre el nuevo presentador del programa del Conde Crowley.

TRAMA 

Jerri intenta ayudar a Steven, ella esta buscando la manera de descubrir como curarlo pero el mismo tiempo teme porque es perseguida por Hubert Shagad,.

Jerri no entiende lo que diden los manuscritos prohibidos y al preguntarle a Freis, pero este vive en un estado de amargura constante, le recomienda a Jerri que si no sabe lo que dicen los manuscritos que se abstenga de continuar y que debe eliminar a Steven.

A todos estos problemas se le suman la aparicion de un hermano mayor y que Hubert Shagad llega hasta la estacion de tv para vigilarla. Jerri lucha por mantenerse sobria.

Interesante capitulo que aporta mucho a la trama central.

What does it come from?

If sobriety is supposed to bring some kind of "serenity," Jerri Bartman certainly ain't feeling it yet! Desperate to help her new werewolf friend, Jerri learns some startling history about Vincent Frights and his time in the trenches of WWII. Meanwhile, the lunar clock is ticking as an inquisitive vampire grows increasingly curious about the new host of the Count Crowley show.

PLOT

Jerri tries to help Steven, she is looking for a way to discover how to cure him but at the same time she fears because she is being persecuted by Hubert Shagad.

Jerri does not understand what the forbidden manuscripts say and when asking Freis, but Freis lives in a state of constant bitterness, he recommends to Jerri that if she does not know what the manuscripts say, that she refrain from continuing and that she should eliminate Steven.

Added to all these problems is the appearance of an older brother and the fact that Hubert Shagad arrives at the TV station to watch her. Jerri struggles to stay sober.

Interesting chapter that contributes a lot to the central plot.

The details and colors of this delivery raise the classic vintage tone to another level of excellence.

¿De qué viene?

"La única forma de curar a un hombre lobo es matar a un hombre lobo". Eso dice el mentor cazador de monstruos de Jerri Bartman. Pero hay un problema. . . el hombre lobo en cuestión no solo es miembro del grupo Alcoholicos Anonimos de Jerri, es un tipo bastante decente. Sin embargo, su volátil exnovia no es tan amigable. Cuando aparece el ex, salen las garras y los colmillos..

TRAMA 

Jerri se enfrenta a Crystal la novia Lobo de Steven, Jerri la atrapa y le corta la lengua, la única manera de matar a un hombre lobo. Esta pelea es intensa y destruye una cocina por completo.

Rich llama a Jerri porque sabe que la antigua orden de vampiros van a buscar unos manuscritos prohibidos que guarda en su casa, Jerri se encuentra con Hubert Shagad, el líder vampiro...pero nada ocurre...pero ya se vieron las caras. El gato que sigue a Jerri resulta ser muy sabio.

Excelente segunda entrega de las aventuras de Jerri como cazadora de monstruos, con algo menos de comedia pero mucho terror, donde Jerri está aprendiendo del ensayo y error, esto es sin suda MIDNIGHT MONSTER HUNTER YEAR ONE.

ARTE

Mantiene ese tono vintage que parece influenciado por Will Eisner, sin duda ofrece un tono nostálgico y fresco, cada pagina es una maravilla.

Resumen

Jerri está aprendiendo su nuevo oficio de cazadora de la manera más dura.

Excelente segunda entrega de una serie original, adictiva y emocionante

What does it come from?

"The only way to cure a werewolf is to kill a werewolf." So says Jerri Bartmans monster-hunting mentor. But there's a problem . . . the werewolf in question is not only a member of Jerri's AA group, he's a pretty decent guy. His volatile ex-girlfriend isn't as friendly, though. When the ex shows up, the claws and the fangs come out.

PLOT

Jerri confronts Steven's Wolf girlfriend Crystal, Jerri catches her and cuts out her tongue, the only way to kill a werewolf. This fight is intense and destroys a kitchen completely.

Rich calls Jerri because she knows that the ancient order of vampires are going to look for some forbidden manuscripts that she keeps in his old house, Jerri meets Hubert Shagad, the vampire leader... but nothing happens... for now. The cat that follows Jerri turns out to be very wise.

Excellent second installment of Jerri's adventures as a monster hunter, with a little less comedy but a lot of terror, where Jerri is learning from trial and error, this is definitely MIDNIGHT MONSTER HUNTER YEAR ONE.

ART

It maintains that vintage tone that seems influenced by Will Eisner, without a doubt it offers a nostalgic and fresh tone, each page is wonderful.

Jerri is learning her new job as a hunter the hard way.

¿De qué viene?

Ha sido una semana increíble para Jerri Bartman. Perdió su trabajo, chocó su auto, aceptó el único concierto disponible como anfitriona del espectáculo de monstruos de medianoche y. . . oh sí, desmembró a un zombi. No es gran cosa. Ahora, para proteger a las personas que ama, tendrá que tomar un curso acelerado de caza de monstruos. Y rápido: un vampiro vengativo acaba de reservar un vuelo de primera clase a la ciudad.

TRAMA 

Jerri Bartman se topa con el hombre lobo que la atacó recientemente y decide que debe eliminarlo, solo que método es totalmente desconocido, no es con balas de plata, debe cortarle la lengua, sin embargo ella no sabe que se enfrenta a la verdadera responsable de esta situación. 

Por otro lado el líder de un grupo de Vampiros se dirige a vengarse de Jerri.

Este cómic logra con la primera entrega el balance perfecto entre terror y humor negro.

ARTE

Es vintage, que con nostalgia recuerda los cómics de pulpa de la década de 1950-1970, lleno de texturas y siluetas, pero al mismo tiempo ofrece frescura en el genero, en otras palabras es el aarte perfecto para esta historia.

What does it come from?

It's been a hell of a week for Jerri Bartman. She lost her job, crashed her car, took the only gig available hosting the midnight monster show, and . . . oh yeah-dismembered a zombie. No big deal. Now, to protect the people she loves, she's going to have to take a crash course in monster hunting. And quickly-a vengeful vampire just booked a first-class flight into town.  

PLOT

Jerri Bartman runs into the werewolf who recently attacked her and decides that she must eliminate him, only that method is totally unknown, it is not with silver bullets, she must cut out his tongue, however she does not know that she is facing the real person responsible for this situation.

On the other hand, the leader of a group of Vampires goes to take revenge on Jerri.

This comic achieves with the first installment the perfect balance between terror and black humor.

ART

It's vintage, nostalgically reminiscent of the pulp comics of the 1950s-1970s, full of textures and silhouettes, but at the same time offering freshness to the genre, in other words it's the perfect art for this story.

Jerri continues her mission to hunt monsters but she doesn't know they are on her trail
