Trama
Hellboy espera una llamada en una calle solitaria en Londres en 1961, pero es atrapado por una misteriosa organización, que lo sedan y llevan a un laboratorio en un lugar desconocido.En este lugar lo conectan a un equipo.
Por otro lado esta organización envía a su espía Jian con un inmenso contenedor a una isla desconocida en la Costa Este de África. Esta isla está habitada por animales gigantes y en un búnker Jian intenta recuperar algo.
Hellboy está conectado a un robot gigante o mecha, que es activado y sale del contenedor para enfrentarse a un lagarto gigante...pero aun Hellboy no sabe cómo mover su cuerpo e intenta asimilar todo lo que le está ocurriendo.
Esta serie comienza con fuerza, Mignola ofrece un ritmo narrativo vertiginoso que no da descanso mientras te adentras en el misterio de este secuestro a Hellboy.
Arte
Duncan Fregedo crea la atmósfera de terror, misterio y acción perfectas para esta historia que ubica a Hellboy en una situación compleja y lo deja en un estado vulnerable. Logra el tono perfecto de una película de terror de la década de 1960 con revistas de pulpa. Es un arte HIPNOTIZANTE, cada página es una obra maestra.
Resumen
Hellboy es usado en un experimento contra su voluntad para manejar un robot gigante mientras sus captores aprovechando la distracción para recuperar algo importante.
Este es una mezcla de King Kong, Frankenstein y Mazinger Z en circunstancias terroríficas.

Plot
Hellboy waits for a call on a lonely street in London in 1961, but is caught by a mysterious organization, who sedates him and takes him to a laboratory in an unknown location. Here they connect him to a computer.
Hellboy waits for a call on a lonely street in London in 1961, but is caught by a mysterious organization, who sedates him and takes him to a laboratory in an unknown location. Here they connect him to a computer.
On the other hand, this organization sends its spy Jian with an immense container to an unknown island on the East Coast of Africa. This island is inhabited by giant animals and in a bunker Jian tries to recover something.
Hellboy is connected to a giant robot or mecha, which is activated and leaves the container to confront a giant lizard... but Hellboy still doesn't know how to move his body and tries to assimilate everything that is happening to him.
This series starts off strong, Mignola offers a dizzying narrative pace that doesn't let up as you delve into the mystery of Hellboy's kidnapping.
Art
Duncan Fregedo creates the perfect atmosphere of terror, mystery and action for this story that places Hellboy in a complex situation and leaves him in a vulnerable state. He hits the perfect tone of a 1960s horror movie with pulp magazines. It is HYPNOTIZING art, each page is a masterpiece.
Summary
Hellboy is used in an experiment against his will to operate a giant robot while his captors take advantage of the distraction to recover something important.
This is a mix of King Kong, Frankenstein and Mazinger Z in terrifying circumstances.
