¿De qué viene?
La serie original de Battlestar Galactica cumple 40 años de su estreno en la TV, para celebrar Dynamite Comics recopila de manera secuencial las historias inspiradas en esta gran serie de ciencia ficción donde una tripulación (los sobrevivientes de los 12 planetas de la guerra con los Cylon) que viaja en esta espectacular y compleja nave de guerra espacial viviendo aventuras inimaginables. Este ómnibus recopila las novelas gráficas Memorial (2015), Adama Gambit (2015), Annual (2014) y Death of Apollo (2015), en total incluye 19 cómics que suman más de 460 páginas de contenido.

Les explicamos una breve reseña de cada una de estas historias con los ilustradores involucrados:
Memorial, escrito por Dan Abnett y Andy Lanning con arte de Cezar Razek, colores de Vinicius Townsend, letras de Simon bowland.
En estos 5 capítulos el muestran como el Battlestar Galactica recurre a las armas basadas en tecnología para viajar en el tiempo para detener el ataque de los Cylon, pero este aparato no está funcionando bien y traslada a los pilotos Apollo y Starbuck a una realidad alterna donde su amada nave nunca existió y los Cylons gobiernan toda la galaxia, por lo que ambos deben ver como regresar a su realidad sobreviviendo a duras pruebas.
El arte de esta historia es hipnotizante y no escatima en secuencias de acción y violencia, donde estás en tensión hasta la última página de esta historia.

The Adama Gambit, escrito por Dan Abnett y Andy Lanning con arte de Cezar Razek, colores de Vinicius Townsend, letras de Simon Bowland.
Esta historia trata sobre si el Comandante Adama debe pasar el testigo como unico lider de lo que queda de humanidad, es una historia un tanto profunda en trama y que se dedica a analizar y darle más profundidad a los personajes de Adama y Apollo. Involucra menos accion y mas suspenso político donde muestran el lado oscuro del poder.

Annual, escrito por Robert Napton e ilustrado por Kewber Baal.
Este comic de entrega única es impreso por primera vez, ya que era una edición solo digital y muestra el origen del malvado Baltar. Baltar fue un espía de los Cylons que fue clave para la destrucción de las 12 colonias, es decir, del genocidio que exterminó a casi toda la raza humana. Esta historia muestra sus motivos y sufrimientos, aunque es difícil identificarse con este villano. La historia es perfectamente llevada y cuidada en detalles, sobretodo las expresiones faciales del villano, muy acertadas.

Death of Apollo, escrito por Dan Abnett e ilustrado por Dietrich Smith, letras de Simon Bowland.
Esta historia narra uno de los acontecimientos más desgarrantes relacionados al personaje de Apollo, uno de los más queridos.
Las páginas splash de esta historia son hipnotizantes.

Calidad de la Edición
Este ómnibus es sin lugar a duda es un excelente trabajo de edicion e impresion, agrupan las historias de la mejor manera secuencial, aparte de introducir todas las magníficas portadas que usaron para todos los comics involucrados, haciendo mención especial todas las ilustradas or Alex Ross y Mike Mayhew entre muchos otros.

Resumen
Este libro aglomera tres excelentes historias que apoyan la interesante mitología de esta serie de ciencia ficción, es un deleite para los fanáticos y a su vez puede ser un punto de partida para nuevos lectores, en realidad la relación precio calidad es muy buena para este libro.

What's going on?
We explain a brief review of each of these stories with the illustrators involved:
Memorial, written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with art by Cezar Razek, colors by Vinicius Townsend, lyrics by Simon Bowland.
In these 5 chapters he shows how the Battlestar Galactica resorts to technology-based weapons to travel in time to stop the Cylon attack, but this device is not working well and sends Apollo and Starbuck to an alternate reality where the Cylons govern the entire galaxy, so both must see how to return to their reality by surviving hard trials.
The art of this story is mesmerizing and does not skimp on sequences of action and violence, where you are in tension until the last page of this story.

The Adama Gambit, written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with art by Cezar Razek, colors by Vinicius Townsend, lyrics by Simon Bowland.
This story is about whether Commander Adama should pass the baton as the only leader of what remains of humanity, it is a story a bit deep in plot and that is dedicated to analyze and give more depth to the characters of Adama and Apollo. Involves less action and more political suspense where they show the dark side of power.

This unique issue is printed for the first time, as it was a digital only edition. It shows the origin of the evil or Baltar. Baltar was a spy of the Cylons that was key to the destruction of the 12 colonies, that is, of the genocide that exterminated almost the entire human race. This story shows his motives and sufferings, although it is difficult to identify with this villain. The story is perfectly taken and taken care of in details, especially the facial expressions of the villain, very accurate.

This story tells one of the most tearing events related to the character of Apollo, one of the most beloved.
The splash pages of this story are hypnotizing.

Quality of this Edition
This omnibus is undoubtedly an excellent job of editing and printing, grouping the stories in the best sequential manner, apart from introducing all the magnificent covers they used for all the comics involved, making special mention all the illustrated or Alex Ross and mike Mayhew.
Summary
This book brings together three excellent stories that support the interesting mythology of this science fiction series, it is a delight for fans and it can be a start point for new readers, in fact the price vs quality is very good for this book.
